'Stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday. It was the perfect little cabin for two - quaint and homey furnishings plus a stocked kitchen and a bowl of candy provided by the host! We loved the location right next to the river, and there were plenty of other activities within a short drive. Can't wait to stay there again.'

'Our stay at this property was nothing short of AMAZING! The communication with the owner was top notch, check in was easy and somehow the interior was more stunning than the outside! Perfect for picture opportunities. The proximity to king street is amazing if you can manage to tear yourself away from this beautiful property. The kitchen and bathroom are incredibly clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and couches were perfect to watch tv or read on. The decor was the cherry on top!'

'We had a nice stay. The house is beautiful in a beautiful location. The view and deck is gorgeous. We were a bit disappointed that there was a coffee maker with no pot so we couldn’t make coffee. I would have loved to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning. The ice maker didn’t work so we had no ice. Dishwasher was broken so we hand washed the dishes which was fine but if the dishwasher is broken it would be nice if there was more than one dish towel and some type of dish rack. The...

'We absolutely recommend Danna's Cozy Cabin!! We were visited by deer daily. Quiet, everything extremely clean and inviting! Communication with host very nice about everything and our reason for stay. You can't go wrong with booking this cabin. Hot tub AWESOME and very clean. Loved our time there and will rebook.'

'If you are a hiker, the property is conveniently located near several attractive hiking trails. There is little else to do, although mountain towns and the Blue Ridge Parkway are very close for scenic drives. Wineries and a few restaurants are 30-45 minutes away along with the entrance to Grandfather Mountain Park. 'There was hair in the shower and sink. The shower liners looked dirty and much to long and hanging in the dirty water. Trash was left in the downstairs. There was no toilet paper, trash can liners, or soap for the shower. Multiple obvious mouse traps left the feeling there was a mouse problem that we may encounter- which we did not. '

'Our family loved staying at this cottage in Blowing Rock. Clean, nicely decorated, with a great space to spread out or gather together. The hot tub was wonderful, clean and easy to use. Was a little too chilly and windy this time to use the fire pit area, so that just means we will need to go back soon! Jo'

'This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for our Blowing Rock getaway. the location was Perfect - we walked to dinner every night and all around town during the day. Also was close to Blue Ridge Parkway when we decided to venture out further. Bed was comfy, loved that there was an ice maker and the place was so clean.'

'My wife, our adult son, and our cocker spaniel stayed here over a weekend. We had an event in Blowing Rock on Saturday and it was super convenient to get in town or to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. The Food Lion was minutes away, but we felt like we were in the mountains. It was a bit cold, but we used the outdoor grill and would have enjoyed sitting on the porch during warmer weather. Plenty of seating, a great kitchen table for board games...

'We loved staying at stairway to heaven. It was perfect for our family of five and two dogs. The kitchen was well stocked, big living room and bonus room downstairs to watch football. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fenced in backyard. It was only a five minute drive to Appalachian mountain. I highly recommend and will definitely come back.'

'Cozy little cabin. Just right for our family of 4 to stay while visiting App State and tour the area for a long weekend. Only complaint was having an inspector wake us up the morning of checkout due to a communication issue from someone he was told the property wouod be vacant.'

'A wonderful place to stay! Property was clean, stocked with the necessities, and the location was perfect: About 20-30min from downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, and plenty of hikes/overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The host was kind and communicative, and being right on the New River was amazing--each day, I was able to watch beavers, otters, deer, etc. all from the deck. Grateful I was able to stay here, and highly recommend if you're looking for a spot in Boone!'

'The cabin was updated and modern, but still warm and inviting with nice little touches like automatic nightlights so you can easily find the bathroom in the dark.It had a wonderful covered patio and the sound of the river in the background.'

'Bluebird Cottage was perfect for our family. We have 2 teenage girls and had plenty of room. It is a short drive to Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain! The cottage was clean and cute! Great communication from the host. We will visit again!'
