'Thank you for giving us an incredible home base for exploring Texas Hill Country! We loved all the spaces for gathering, inside and out. Renting both the "main house" and the Casita for my parents gave them plenty of privacy, which was wonderful. We adored petting and feeding Espresso, Latte, Lorenzo, and even Miss Cookie the cow! 'I loved the decor and the country setting of this property. The check in and out were super easy. This house was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The only thing I wish it had was a dresser so I could unpack my suitcase. There are a few end tables, baskets and shelves available for use but I missed having a dresser. We came to see the total solar eclipse in April – the location was 10 minutes from Fredericksburg, but off a country road so we avoided all the crowds and just relaxed. 'We loved gathering with our family at this beautiful and quiet farmhouse. It is perfectly set up for a crowd with great indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Lots of very thoughtful amenities! A bit outside of Fredricksburg, but we loved the trees, sunsets/sunrises, wildlife, nearness of many wineries and easy access to Albert Dancehall. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!'

'Had a wonderful stay during the eclipse. The owner treated my wife, two daughters, and me like family. We even grilled chicken together and drank some of his excellent wine. We loved the "Garden of Eden," wine selection. We stayed above the wine tasting room at the main building which had hardwood floors and was neat and clean. We took a drive down to the cabins which were very nice and secluded in the woods. They were sold out but looked very nice. Thanks for all Nitzan.'

"We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed. But these are minor issues. All in all recommended!"
