'We had a great time at the sawmill cottage! Jen was a wonderful host and even gave us a tour of her farm, highly recommend! The cottage was clean and bed was comfortable. Absolutely no cell service or television, and that gave us some time to spend unplugged and play board games and watch dvds together!! Campfire area is awesome as well. Loved it, thanks Jen for the experience and helping us with maps of the area!'

'Well kept home, everything you need in the kitchen, close to the Caverns. The host were wonderful, replied to any messages I sent very fast, only thing I would change about this house would be a blind or curtain in kitchen window and covering over the front glass door but that wouldn't stop me from renting this home again if I was to return to the area. 'Super quaint little cottage, exactly what we needed. The hosts are incredibly sweet and accommodating. The view is of open farmland with mountians in the distance. The sun sets off the back of the cottage and theres a wonderful view. Really wonderful spot!'

'The property was gorgeous and very relaxing. The cottage was clean and well kept with a comfy bed and cute coffee bar. The couch is a bit uncomfortable, but we didn’t spend much time lounging anyways. Great location and close to Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park for hiking. 'We chose this property for its proximity to Early Mountain Vineyards, which was our primary destination, but we loved coming back to the cottage and making a wood fire with the complimentary wood the owner left us! We ended up not cooking anything ourselves, but all the necessary supplies were there if we had wanted to. A nice secluded spot right next to a river!'

'Had the chance to stay here with my teenage son while we toured the caverns in the local area. The host is honestly one of the best I've encountered, providing perfect directions and being super flexible as we had to make some last-minute changes. The property is gorgeous and perfectly separated from the main property, leaving you in the silence of nature and ability to view all of the stars. 'My friends and I stayed here for a short gateway. The house was very nice but the cons are: 1. Mattress were uncomfortable because they were old and spring mattress. 2. Linens looked old,musty, and dirty. Some linens still had stains. 3. Pillows were old and thin. 4. Bathrooms were stained in blue and old. 5. 'This place was fantastic! Clean, quiet, safe, and relaxing. The TV and soundbar setup were extremely high quality, we had a great time playing two player on our Nintendo Switch as well as watching our favorite shows and a movie. We had an absolutely wonderful and rejuvenating stay here. The property fit our needs perfectly. The hot tub was clean and functional, the little curtains around it were a very nice touch as the backyards were a little close together and it provided peace and privacy....
