'This property was outstanding for our eclipse-watching family reunion. There was plenty of space both inside and out for our group of 18. We did puzzles in one of the two living rooms, swam in the pool, watched the eclipse at poolside, had a talent show in the party barn, and identified birds in the wild spaces. When we could tear ourselves away, we had a great time enjoying bbq and live music in Austin and swimming at Barton Springs Pool. Natalia was responsive and helpful.'

'The property is lovely. Signage to the guest rooms on the first floor is greatly lacking and confusing. My room definitely needed a deep clean. Lots of dust on lamps, pictures, etc. The safe didn’t work. All relatively minor, but for the cost of the stay, it really should be pristine. Room service brought me fruit that was past its prime and even had mold on one of the strawberries. '

'Not the hotel's fault, but the road construction around it has changed access to driveway resulting in a 1.5 mile detour around a turn that's 400 feet away from the entrance. '

'Location was good for us. Check in/out was fast. Linen wasn't the cleanest. Breakfast area was big compared to other hotels but food was not great. They are going thru a much needed renovation, will stay again afterwards to see if it improves.'
