'The location was great. The house was nicely laid out but needs to be cleaned. It smelled like moth balls, needed to be repainted inside and needs a new refrigerator. There are less expensive properties in this area that are nicer and cleaner.'

'Com certeza um dos hoteis mais bonitos que ja vi na vida. As fotos não fazem jus - é MUITO mais bonito. O lugar é incrivel, os quartos sao otimos, a equipe é muito amável (ainda que no café da manhã possam ser um pouco lentos). Quero ficar lá de novo em todas as vezes que voltar a Ubud. Tive a oportunidade de ir a outros hoteis na regiao (ritz carlton, kupu kuou barong) e achei esse o mais charmoso de todos, numa estrutura mais intimista de hotel boutique. Recomendo muito!'

'Ligging is mooi. Het huis is eenvoudig, maar dat wisten we en voor deze prijs hadden we ook geen luxe verwacht. Wat ons vooral tegenviel is hoe vies en vervallen alles was. Het is vast ooit prachtig geweest maar er is overduidelijk jaren niks aan gedaan.'

'The host for Villa Wirada confirmed our stay in Dec. 2024. Just prior to our travel, the host wrote to say 'sorry I double booked your dates' and I'll find you a like property, which I agreed to. BIG mistake. The property he booked us in was disgusting on every level. fecal matter in the toilet, musty smell in the rooms, dirty sheets, no clean water, etc...he billed us the same price for Villa Wirada, which I imagine is nice. 'Beautiful villa- very nicely decorated with everything you could need. Beds and pillows very comfy. Very well kept and clean… Komang did a great job each day cleaning and making sure everything was ok. Dollar the driver was great too. Pool lovely and views of rice paddy great. Very tranquil and relaxing. Easy to get around by taxi or scooter.. can walk to ubud but is about 40 minutes… some local restaurants near and bakery at end of road. Lots to do in the vicinity. Thankyou. '

'We had the most wonderful stay in Ubud at lovely Noka House. The villa itself is breathtaking along with its position near paddy fields. Lots of wildlife, birds and insects to keep us company. Nyoman, Ketut and Wayan are so gracious and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Highlights for us are the Balinese people, they are so lovely, and my trip to the Yoga barn on the back of Wayan's scooter was hilarious if not a little bit terrifying. "I booked for three persons, before arriving I made a request for three separate beds. There was only one king size bed and they said that it was normal to sleep whit three persons in that bed. When I asked for an other extra bed the charge was 50 euro per night extra, eventually they made it 25 euro when is said it is not acceptable. There are two pools both are only 1,3 meter deep, very shallow in my opinion. There should be one deeper pool. Because of the coral reef is about 200 meters away and the tide takes the water out, a muddy pool is left over, so the sea is only accessible 50% of the time. So no good pool and no good swimming in the sea. The staff and rooms where excellent! The restaurant is quite expensive for Bali but excellent food. Overall the stay was good. "
