"The home and the gardens are truly lovely. The owner really made us feel welcome. They also had a bunch of sporting equipment (basketball, baseball gloves, etc.) that the kids adored playing with. The kids also loved to be able to hurl duck food at the ducks. The house is in a great location and a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely go back."

"What a great property! Upon pulling into the property we were immediately greeted by the hosts. They are what all hosts should aspire to be. We were able to fit in a quick walk of the property, which is gorgeous. The photos just can't capture the tranquility and peacefulness. The guesthouse was perfect for me and my young daughter. "A perfect location for getting to the WNC Ag Center in Fletcher - an easy, no-highway route. Prior to travel, we had speedy and clear communications with the owners/managers, with easy check-in followed by a warm welcome and offers for local info as needed. Home layout and furnishings made for a very comfortable stay, and there were ample conveniences nearby (gas stations, restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, craft breweries, etc.)."

"Property was off the beaten path. The seclusion was quite nice. No cellular signal made things a little difficult. The only real complaint i have is there was animal hair everywhere. It was in the fridge, freezer and on all the beds. We had to wash all the linen befor we could comfortably sleep on them. Also the garbage was full before we were able to toss our trash forcing us not comply with their trash policy. Overall it was a good experience."

"This property clearly has somebody who lives there when it's not rented out and minimal preparations are done to accommodate the guests as far as the resident putting their stuff away. The house is in need of repair and has several items that are not operational or broken. The whole house smells dank like mildew or mold. One of the windows is broken and has plastic with tape over it. There was at least four boxes of partially consumed breakfast cereal on top of the fridge and two partially eaten...

"Awe stayed for 3 nights over the weekend. We arrived at night (which I would not recommend doing for the first time you get there) and we did get a little lost. The host provided great directions, just being it the dark made it very challenging. It was very much worth the view! Beautiful place with a great set up for small kids and parents too. The host was very kind and even set out some fish food for our son to feed the koi pond with. Fit great for what we needed!"
