'We had a great time, we will stay again. Tina at the front desk very informed and helpful. Hotel is very close to the downtown area and very walkable. You will need to stay in communication for check-in to ensure they are available you help you. They do have a after hours lock box to be able to access your room. We did not need but it was communicated to us the morning of check-in.'

'Room was clean, roomy, more than adequate for 4 people, our 2 boys shared the king bed in the front room. The smaller private room has a full closet, queen bed and cable tv on a big screen. Mini-fridge was actually cold!! All the beds were comfortable and you cannot beat the location, we walked to the boardwalk and wharf daily! Indoor heated pool and spa! Nice place, quiet and in the best location for tourists activities. We would stay again.'

'Very spacious and just a comfortable spot to take day trips from to Big Sur and surrounding area. Nice couch situation we could also just relax. We cooked a bit as well and it was super nice they had lots of kitchen stuff, including spices etc. I would totally recommend this spot!'

'Once you get past the beautiful scenery, daily deer sightings, and the beautiful home, you have to take time to visit with Teddy he’s the Yorki in charge of the property, so friendly. While you enjoy the beautiful weather in a stunning home, you may get a chance to visit with Sophie. She’s the 18 month old little girl who never stops smiling. What you get when you stay with these folks, is a beautiful setting, in a family environment. A rare gift these days, we will be back.'

'We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey.'

When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay.
