'My partner and I stayed for one night and we had a great time. Beautiful surrounding location and a very cozy room. The hosts were great communicators for any questions I had. The only thing I wish was different about our stay is as other people noted, you need to bring lots of extra water to use for drinking/washing up because of the non-potable water in the room. 'We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey.'

'Room was clean, roomy, more than adequate for 4 people, our 2 boys shared the king bed in the front room. The smaller private room has a full closet, queen bed and cable tv on a big screen. Mini-fridge was actually cold!! All the beds were comfortable and you cannot beat the location, we walked to the boardwalk and wharf daily! Indoor heated pool and spa! Nice place, quiet and in the best location for tourists activities. We would stay again.'

When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay. 'We had a wonderful weekend stay. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Bill was extremely accommodating and kind. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful and we just wish the weather had been a little warmer so that we could have enjoyed the patio more!'
