'This was a perfect house for us - having the bedrooms downstairs isn't an issue - but maybe describe it better so people understand they are taking luggage down stairs. Comfortable and clean !!'

'I love the location of this property on the lake. There is a swing below the deck that is the perfect place to have a morning cup of coffee. The office staff is friendly and very helpful with a full list of restaurants and things to do. Callaway Gardens is beautiful this time of year, and this chalet was perfect for our long weekend getaway!'

'I will start with the pros first because that list is short. It was a great location to venture to Calloway Gardens, LaGrange or Columbus. Other than that, the place was pretty disappointing. Issues...the first thing that hits you when you walk in the door is the smell of mold...like a musty basement smell. Not a nice cabin smell, but a musty, feel like you are going to get sick, smell. Initially the place looked clean, but when you started to really look around, the bathtub in the master was...

'Our chalet was so cute and cozy! We had a wedding to attend at Callaway Gardens and this property was no more than 5 minutes from the Gardens. The staff were so kind and helpful, and the chalet itself was perfect. Especially with our three dogs! I would definitely recommend staying in any of the chalets on this property!'

'The cabin was cozy. I didn’t like having to check in and out at an office. I prefer a lock code or more flexibility with the checkin/out process (the office staff were extremely friendly and courteous) The cabin was clean, but every single one of the chalets we viewed had carpet in the bedrooms and it was old/ outdated. It would have felt cleaner with no carpet. Overall, we had a nice relaxing time and would like to return with our children.'

'This cabin was the perfect place for our large group to stay. It was fun eating dinners on the back deck overlooking the lake. Great communication with the property manager. We will be back!'

'The house was nice. Large enough for our family and well equipped. The only issue was the carpet really needs a deep cleaning or replacing. There was a very strong smell and I feel is likely due to the carpet. We did enjoy the house and it has been updated nicely. The owners suite is very large, as is the downstairs bedroom, with a couch and loveseat. Nice TVs, good internet, a must for teenagers and football season. Close to everything.'

'This was suppose to be a relaxing getaway with our pets. Check-in process was great. Mickey did her job well! Once we walked in to the chalet we were shocked at the appearance. Very worn furniture, bottom of walls were dirty and all scratched up, dead bugs on floor upon arrival. We also were looking forward to the screened in back porch which was filthy and so were the cushions in the chairs. This place needs to be renovated, cleaned, painted and updated. We didn’t even feel comfortable to leave...

'We really enjoyed our stay at the chalet. The house had a warm cozy feeling. The rooms was a good size. The living room and dining room was spacious. We just enjoyed our 4 day stay. We will rent again at Pine Mountain a Chalet again.'

'My mother and kids stayed with me, plus my 2 dogs. We played games on the enclosed porch, which was my favorite place. The beds were comfortable. The Rec center, where we played pool and ping pong, is very close to the chalet, as is the playground. We enjoyed area attractions like Pumpkins at Callaway, Wild animal Safari, and horseback riding at FDR state park. The weather was perfect. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The towels are the sandpaper type that are super small, so bring your own...

'This was an excellent space set apart in nature for a very quiet and peaceful weekend. There were spaces inside and out to enjoy a cozy fire, to sit and chat, or have a quiet meal. Thanks to the host for staying in contact and leaving excellent directions for a stay on the property.'

'This is a cute quiet cabin in secluded area. The screened in porch is the perfect place to enjoy the weather and not the bugs. It is nicely decorated and cozy. It was a perfect spot for my family to hang out and rest between my son’s military ceremonies and before making the long trek back home. Very pleased. If we ever make a trip to Georgia again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.'

'My Mother and I enjoyed the house, conveniently close to a publix, and a fair distance to the places we wanted to visit such as Calloway Gardens, Providence Canyon State Park and Pine Mountain Safari about 30 to 45 minutes. Only 2 little things that we noticed but didnt ruin our time here, there is a lack of cooking utensils such as a serving spoon we had soup and chili for dinners, and it is a older house that looks like it can use a little work, mostly in the bathroom.
