Vrijdag 24 nov ‘23 de douche gemeld welke geen warm warm water gaf. Tot dinsdag 29 nov. geen verbetering of terugkoppeling. Zaterdag 25 nov meld ik een lekkende airco in de woonkamer. Tot dinsdag 29 nov. geen reparatie. Airco werd uitgezet. Airco in de slaapkamer blaast over je lichaam tijdens het slapen met als ‘s nachts koud worden tot gevolg. Deze airco heb ik ‘s nachts uitgezet, geslapen zonder airco. Dus slecht geslapen met 28 graden buiten. Bij uitchecken vraagt het personeel aan de balie niet of ik een goed verblijf heb gehad. Weinig tot geen actie op gebreken ook geen terugkoppeling. Aardige schoonmaakster.

Prettige en vriendelijke ontvangst met een lekker ijsje. Kamer is erg netjes en er is ruim kookgerei beschikbaar mocht je een keer zelf willen koken. Leuke urban beach aanwezig en op loopafstand van het centrum. De kamers zijn wel redelijk gehorig dus oordoppen zijn wel handig om goed te kunnen slapen. Een wasrek om je natte handdoeken of kleding op te hangen zou handig zijn.

Nice location close to the centre. Friendly and amazing cleaning team. Some apartments and penthouses have a view on the parkinglot. Low waterpressure and medium warm water in the shower. Few efforts from staff to fix these issues, not very flexible, answers include ‘dont let this ruin your vacation’ or ‘try running around the lake’. Price does not match expectation.

nada especial, la habitación tipo apartamento es lo único bueno, no hay servicio al cuarto, no hay gym, no hay restaurante, el internet es de baja velocidad, el servicio de limpieza es cada 3 días y solo te entregan 1 llave para la habitación, si vas acompañado o en familia tienes que compartir 1 sola llave.

Area del Village bonita pero con deficiencias
Tenía mayores espectativas, me hospedé en el area del Village bonitas habitaciones con facilidades de cocina, sin embargo algunas deficiencias que considero deberían ofrecer por el precio que se paga: 1. Cuando nos llevaron a la habitación, a pesar de que la habitación queda en 2 pisos superiores nos hicieron subir por las escaleras con las maletas sin ningun tipo de ayuda, a los días nos enteramos que hay un ascensor. 2. La habitación no cuenta con teléfono para comunicarse con la recepción, si necesitas consultar por algo o llamas desde tu celular o debes caminar hacia la recepción. 3. La TV de la habitación solo puede ser utilizada conectando TV por Celular o Tablet y conectarla a la TV 4. Las Almohadas son incomodísimas, parecen cojines gigantes, solo contaba con una almohada verdadera y no puedes solicitar nada adicional 5. La tienda de conveniencias no está disponible 6. No tienen secador de pelo, para las damas esto es un detalle importante. 7. En el area del Bar de la piscina no hay opciones de venta de snaks, solo bebidas. Estos detalles son importantes para ofrecer una estadia confortable. El personal de la recepción es agradable y amable. En general consideramos que por el precio pagado todos estos detalles deberían estar cubiertos.

We booked this place since the description stated that it was on a private beach, no beach nearby except for the pool all the way un the back. Surroundings are dirty and abandoned homes blocks of them. We were told it is not a safe area where the hotel is located by the locals. The so call penthouse room we got have this terrible see through garage door that bring in so much heat and sunlight. The glare we got from our room was awful. We stayed in B6 then the air conditioner unit broke on 2nd day so we got room changed to next door B7. Air conditioner unit are better but the heat and the bright sun light from this ugly garage style balcony door was not helping much with the heat. It is not a soundproof room as it said nor private beach. The warer pressure in the shower is so weak. There is no hand soap or shampoo in both rooms. You will need to ask for hair dryer at the front desk and for soap to be filled. It is a walking distance from bus station, mini mart and to the harbor. We should have just do a 3 days stayed instead of 7 days. We walked and took the bus where we could. Taxi was so expensive it would be best to rent a car. You don't need to have a driver's license to drive there, we were told by the people that work and live there for 2 years. Food options are limited and expensive. The local place to eat is inside a food court call Plasa Bieu. It was a decent place to eat. Most fancy restaurants are not very good for the 25-40 USD price.

Our private beach is an urban beach that surrounds our pool with swim in cave and jacuzzi. We are located in the Scharlooweg, a short walk from town, our reception can provide the best urban walking route at night for the 8-10 min walk to the town center. The room you picked has rolling shutters, this allows for when opened, the expansive city views and for Curaçao’s trade winds to sweep through the room. The glassed in bedroom can be closed off to provide for the air co not to escape that area to ensure comfortable sleeping, we are sorry this arrangement is not to your liking. We are also sorry you had a problem with your air conditioner but happy to hear you were quickly relocated to a room with a functioning unit. Housekeeping attends to rooms daily and should ensure the soap dispensers are filled, I’m sorry to hear this did not happen and will check into the cause of this. You do need a drivers license to even rent and also to drive a car in Curacao. We are sorry you did not get to experience much of the wonderful Cuisine in many price ranges in Curacao. Plasa Bieu is widely enjoyed by visitors and inhabitants of Curacao for a taste of Curacao! Glad you enjoyed your time there. We are sorry you did not enjoy your time with us or in Curacao, we wish you the very best in your future travels.

The room was lovely and well-maintained and the property was safe. The guards did an excellent job ensuring safety. Most of the staff members were accommodating but there was a couple who were a bit rude. The buffet breakfast listed at $15 per person was completely not worth it. Information about deposits should be listed up front. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work well in some areas.

Nice modern apartment perfectly located from downtown. Room for improvement would be: broken outdoor light, low water pressure, laundry closet needs a light, door lock tricky to lock. Otherwise, it was a great apartment and good value for the price. Let's hope the green space stays as it provides a quiet nature and beautiful birds.

This property is a real gem. It has a unique combination of historical charm - originally an ice cream factory - and a wonderful addition of brand new ultra modern apartments. The apartments are beautifully decorated with all the modern amenities you could possibly need, including a kitchenette and dishes, pots and pans, etc... It has a wonderful translucent window that opens to a terrace overlooking the pool and the town of Curacao. You can also see the Caribbean sea from afar. I woke up every morning, opened it up with the switch of a button, and listened to the birds singing. There are also two pool areas - one in the courtyard of the renovated historical section, and one outside surrounded by palm trees and sand, which makes it feel like a beach oasis. There was no shortage of beach chairs so you didn't feel like you had to rush early in the morning if you wanted to spend the day at the pool. One of my favorite things was it's location in the historic Jewish quarter of town. It is a short 5-6 minute walk to a large market and downtown which gives you access to restaurants and the beautiful waterfront. The staff was so warm, friendly and helpful. They arranged excursions and taxis for us and answered all our questions. This place was such a pleasant surprise because you never know if the pictures will live up to their promise in real life but in this case, it exceeded them. I would like to add that I loved that it was adult only. Wonderful! Will definitely return.

Availability of food/snacks beyond breakfast would have been nice. Happy hour was fun. Bret and everyone on the property were EXTREMELY nice and helpful. Free airport shuttle and a Mini-Market on site were both not available. Both were part of my reason to select this property. Non the less I will return. I had a great time.

The unit was nice and clean but still a little bit smaller than portraid and the "ocean" view isn't a real ocean view, it was a little but of sea you could see km's away between buildings. Also being on vacation a felt being on a curfew because after 10 they didn't let anyone go un not even to drop you off and my building was like a 2-3 minute walk from the gate. No one can go in after 10 not even to have like a glass of wine, I understand if it was like a group of people but not like just 1 person. The staff was thankfully overall friendly though.... I've stayed at many properties and hotels and ar this one unfortunately ai will never stay anymore...

The location was great, close enough to walk into Willemstad and just far enough for peaceful evenings and nights. As a kid I was part of a tour with school at the Ritz ice cream factory which I didn't know had been converted into this hotel. The setup of the apartment is nice with great views. The oven/stove and washer/dryer were a little difficult to figure out with out manuals.The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be recommending the Ritz and will probably also be back.

False advertising
False advertising. This property is not located on a beachfront. One of their pools has sand from the beach around it (man made) to give you the feel of the beach and no where in their ads on Hotels.com did they say that. When it was brought to the attention of the check in staff, we were “brushed off” and was told to speak to management when they arrived on the Monday (we checked in on Friday evening). Further to that, apparently ALL the staff were then told that we were “complainers” and when they saw us on the compound, they immediately identified us as the people who complained. Apart from that, the lock on our door didn’t work and we were told we can have another room which we viewed but decided it was not to our liking. They promised to send someone to fix the lock but he never came till Sunday morning. Our room was one of the penthouses which were newly built but yet there was no light in the laundry room, no ventilation in the bathroom and no lights outside our room (which was a lonely location). We met a few friendly reception staff in the days that followed but overall would not recommend as this hotel is only selling dreams using the photos on the site.
