It’s not in great shape, but the reviews are stunning! We really enjoyed the outdoor living part of this home. The pool was wonderful to have; however, the listing stated it was heated, but should be clarified to say “solar heated”. We would definitely come back to stay at this property again!'

'The location of the house was spectacular. Lush rainforest on all sides. The house was very cozy with soft lighting, warm textiles, carpeted bedrooms and natural wood everywhere. The lanai had a rain cover which was great. '

'This charming home is just a couple of miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We were able to drive up to the park in the early morning hours to see the brief 26th fountaining of Kīlauea. The house is beautifully decorated and has all amenities necessary for a very comfortable stay. My grandsons declared the beds “very comfy” and wanted to be sure that’s included in the review. We definitely recommend Pu’uwai Place'

No to mention long convo’s with our lovely host Sarah. Trips to the farmers markets, restaurants and the National Park were a short drive away. '
