'The hotel has a terrible smell upon entrance. Some may be ok with that, however this is a luxury hotel. It should have a luxury ambience. The other part is that the Tommie hotel also connects to it, so you should just book there for half the co. It’s literally the same lobby, bars, pool, etc. You can really just stay there for half the cost, the Thomas was not worth the money overall a 3 star experience'

'The staff were beyond accommodating! Anything you need from the concierge to the coffee shop to the bar, just ask. We missed a dinner reservation and ended up eating at the restaurant bar as backup, but had an incredible meal! The cocktails are great too'

'I always stay at The Line when visiting Austin. It's a great location right on the lake and near South Congress which is my favorite shopping area. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and the shower is amazing. All 3 restaurants are worth checking out. The pool is relaxing in the morning and a fun social whirl later in the day.'

'The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very nice.
The bad: hotel lost power for no apparent reason for an hour or so.
Elevator service was spotty at best
The pool was way over crowded and filthy. The hotel doesn’t claim ownership of this pool even though it sits on their roof. They allow folks to come in that aren’t staying at the hotel which accounts for the overcrowding'
