'Myself and three friends stayed here for a golf trip to the RTJ Trail. The house and property were nice and clean and had everything we needed. Great proximity to courses. Beth was an awesome and helpful host.'

'Very enjoyable stay at this well equipped house. We were a large party staying for a wedding so slightly disappointed that there was insufficient clothes hangers and towels provided. Also there is a second 'apartment' available to rent but when we booked the accommodation this was not apartment from the website listing and we only discovered this when we were sent the entry information.'

The house was clean with excellent touches everywhere to make guests feel welcome (air fresheners, plenty of towels, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, fire starters, and plenty of wood) and a nicely stocked kitchen for guests who like to cook. 'This is a nicely renovated, historical home within walking distance from restaurants and UAB. Great layout for each bedroom to have a bathroom. Although the cold weather didn't permit to fully enjoy, the enclosed patio is a nice gathering area to enjoy each other's company. Charles does well communicating. Would highly recommend!'

'It was a nice place to stay for the night. The host did give us easy to follow directions to find the unit. Though, parking was not great for us a with a full sized SUV. It was a little tough to pull out when the neighbors had their vehicles parked as well. There is other parking on the street, but it was full. And the driveway is fairly steep to walk up. 'Overall a success. This is a beautiful old historic home with lots of cool features. It was great for our usage - business associates in the Birmingham area for the Porsche Driving Experience. I would say it would be great for families and kids too. The rental process was great and convenient.'

'The historic house was a wonderful substitute for the typical "cookie-cutter" places to stay in cities. Large rooms and enclosed backyard provided ample space and privacy in a downtown setting. 'Our family stayed here for a weekend long track meet at the Crossplex. Excellent, quiet location. Very easy to get anywhere we needed to go. The house is older with all of the unique charm that comes with an older home. It was extremely clean and had very comfy mattresses. Communication with the hosts was fantastic.'

'We really enjoyed our stay here. The home is recently renovated and well furnished. The four bedroom layout worked very well for our two families with kids, offering privacy for parents and a space for kids. The home was very clean and check in was easy. The location is convenient to everything in Southside. When I had questions about the house, the manager was quickly in contact and helped me find what I needed. We hope to return.'

'We were in town for our son's wedding. We had 14 adults and 2 kids (ages 4 to 82). Plenty of bedroom space with comfy beds and nice linens (plenty of towels in bath as well). The kids loved the swing in the yard--they played out there every time we were at the house. Kitchen is dated but functional (lots of dishes, glasses and silverware). No ice maker--bring ice!
