'Don’t be fooled by the classification “Suite”. They’re just standard hotel rooms. So no separate bedroom. Staff varies dramatically from friendly, via uninterested to just rude (especially in body language). Items missing or exchanged without notification from ordered food. And several items on the menu are not available. '

'The room was very clean and beautiful. It was a smaller resort but the staff where incredibly friendly and always smiling and saying good morning. The meals were from a set menu, but even as a picky eater I was always impressed and left full. The bartenders were personable and always willing to make new drinks. There is no direct beach access, but a quick boat ride from the dock or a 15 minute walk would get you to a very quite beach. We planned to eat at Breeze resteraunt and have a drink...

'The staff around the hotel was friendly and welcoming. My room was in a perfect location for a quiet and restful few days. The views around the resort were beautiful. Having the ability to go to Prickly Pear Beach from the shoreline was an added bonus. There were plenty of lounge chairs around the adult pool and beach. Overall, I came to Antigua to get away from the cold weather in New York and to relax, and The Hodges definitely helped me achieve both of those goals.'

'Though not the most luxurious place I have ever stayed in, this vacation definitely owns a place in my personal top 3. Staff is friendly, and given the scale of the hotel the overall experience very intimate and personal. Rooms all have magnificent views, outdoor showers and overall comfort is good. Our room did have a ceiling fan that wasn't quite up to the task but all-in-all this did not affect the wonderful week we spent at Cocos. Food is excellent, give our greetings to Acarie.'

I didn't particular care for the location - right next to a major drop off point for day time cruise passengers and the massive Sandals resort, but some people may enjoy that energy. The pool area was quiet and we enjoyed that part of the resort. '
