'We booked this property as a place to stay for a 3 day fishing trip to Crescent Lake. There were 8 guys and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Very secluded with no neighbors and just the sounds of wildlife at night. We loved the fishing dock on the creek and utilized it on several days. 'Our group has been staying at this house every Jan/Feb for the last few years for our annual St. Johns river fishing trip. There is lots of room for our group of 12 guys and the owner is easy to deal with. We plan to return each year and this is the best house on the river in Astor that our group all agrees on staying. 'I booked this last minute with only a couple days notice and I am glad I did. What a great little cabin. It is very rustic and very homely. I was told service was not great but I had ZERO service and I loved it. No messing with technology just enjoying our days sitting by the forest. Me and my lady sat by the fire pit every night and we grilled meats as well. Hope has the cabin very clean and stocked with everything you may need. We will definitely be booking again in the future!!'
