Parking & Access Details:

• You may park inside the private gate of the backyard or just outside the gate in the rear cul-de-sac, whichever you prefer.
• Both areas are private, secure, and reserved exclusively for House of Design Rentals guests.

You have smart lock self-access at both front and rear doors for a seamless, contactless check-in experience. The same smart code works on both doors. A parking map will be provided before arrival for easy navigation.

IMPORTANT NOTES BEFORE YOUR STAY:

ARRIVAL:
You’ll access the home from the back, via a short gravel road off Atlanta Street (right beside the Food Mart). The road has larger stones but is smooth and safe for most vehicles. Please drive slowly and follow the directions provided in your check-in guide to locate the correct turn. If your vehicle isn’t suited for gravel, just let us know and we’ll arrange an alternate parking option for you.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
This luxury home is in the heart of Atlanta, in a neighborhood that is actively in transition. As you drive in, you may notice older historic homes, newly renovated homes, vacant lots, and some ongoing construction. The area is developing ahead of the upcoming World Cup and still has a raw, urban energy that is part of its character.

We have stayed here ourselves many times and feel extremely comfortable. Once inside, guests often say they feel instantly transported to a private retreat away from the active city. The home is secure, features an alarm system and exterior cameras for peace of mind, and is located close to Grant Park and local police presence.

THE HOME:
This is a historic home that has been fully remodeled and intentionally designed with modern finishes, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful amenities. It is clean, updated, and welcoming. You may notice a few natural quirks from its original craftsmanship, such as gently uneven wooden floors in certain areas. These details are part of the home’s history and charm. The modern comforts make your stay easy. The historic character makes it memorable.

ACORN SEASON:
There’s a large, majestic oak tree on the property that provides plenty of shade... and a steady supply of tiny acorns. You might hear a few gentle taps here and there, and we like to think of it as nature’s soundtrack.

For fun, we invite guests (especially kids!) to collect a few acorns during their stay and leave them in the basket by the back door. Every month we donate them to a local wildlife rescue for squirrel feeding!

HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE:
Mid-stay cleanings or daily refreshes are available for an added fee upon request to keep your space pristine. Please provide 24 - 48 hours notice and we can arrange mid-stay cleaning.
