'This hotel was warm and inviting. The room was large and comfortable. The only complaint I would have was the noise level. My room was the first on the 2nd floor landing and the restroom for the pub customers was on the landing below mine. The door going into the restroom needs oiling! It was squeaky and I could hear the hand dryer everytime someone used it. The noise from outside was bad as well and the street seemed to be a major drag strip. It is a lovely old hotel.'

'The air conditioning & ceiling fan are both effective. It's very close to the Surfers Paradise tram stop. Good for a budget stay. '

'Prima kamer! We zagen een beetje op tegen de gedeelde douche en toilet, maar alles was steeds schoon. Het hotel ligt iets verder van het centrum van Sydney, maar als je het OV door hebt is dat eigenlijk geen bezwaar. prijs-kwaliteit verhouding OK.'

'Outstanding property and environment, but unfortunately understaffed with poor communication. Could have been the best stay of our trip but spoiled by amazing lack of information. It felt like a cynical exercise in capitalism. '
