The kids and myself enjoyed the paddle boats! The entertaining area was quite large. Would be great for weddings, family reunions, etc.'

'This was exactly what we needed for our trip!! My partner and I are rock climbers, we visit this area often to climb at the Holy Boulders in Pomona, and we came up at this time to see the eclipse. Usually we camp or stay up in Carbondale, but we are already looking at coming back here for our next trip! 'Very nice location perched on top of bluffs and at lease one shelter bluff that Indians once used. Ideal location for getting to lakes for fishing and close to town for awesome pizza. The house itself is set up very nicely, especially with the lower and upper decks, focking chairs, fire pit and enjoyable nature. Will return again for sure.'

'We were very happy with our stay at the farm house. One problem we did have was several of our group are elderly and climbing the stairs was too much for them. Except for the master bedroom, all the other bedrooms were upstairs. Needless to say, some people that we thought we would have beds for ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs.'

'The backyard gazebo was wonderful to hang out. It is super close to SIU. It is city house with city noises. We come from the city so we loved the location and easy access to everything Carbondale. Close to hikes and wineries. The owner was great to work with. We loved that we could bring our dog. We will stay again.'

We enjoyed our time here. The only complaint I would have is a lack of water pressure. The cabin could use a water pressure tank. That would have made a huge difference. All in all, a pretty nice VRBO property.'
