Farm and castle in one! Our castle dates back to 1717 and during the renovations we've kept all the charm and history intact. When entering the premises it feels like you're in France.

Whilst the studio itself is very quaint with a Scandinavian minimalist style, the garden is pretty extravagant! And all yours to use during your stay.

We've created a firepit terrace and wood and fire starters are freely available. There are a couple of tables with chairs in our garden, so pick whichever one you find cutest.

We also have a selection of bikes that you can use. If you let us know beforehand we can double check the tires for you and have them out when you arrive.

Our garden is fully fenced so if you bring a dog you can let them run around freely, also when we are in the garden ourselves. We love dogs! There's plenty for them to discover and enough room to get their legs stretched. We do have a bunch of chickens and ducks walk freely through our garden so perhaps introduce them to your dog first so he knows they're not food. (but sometimes casualties do happen and well, that's life.)

If you're bringing kids: let them enjoy the garden, tree house, trampoline and anything else they can find! We know all too well what it's like to have kids, so let them run around and explore without worrying if they might break something. There is also an electric quad that they can use if you feel comfortable with it. (although our boys sometimes forget to charge it, so you might have to plug it in first). Our only requirement is that they do wear the helmet that is provided and that you keep an eye out for them.

At the far back of the garden in a seperate field on the left where our 3 sheep and pony (Bear) live. They're always happy to see people so feel free to visit them. If you really want to win over their hearts then give them some fruit or bread.

Please be aware that there is no kitchen or other cooking facility in the studio. There is a Nespresso coffee machine and a kettle though, with supplies. There will also be cups, plates, bowls and cutlery, but again; no cooking facility or microwave. There is however a small fridge to store any brought food and drinks.

The studio has one double bed and an extra single bed if needed. We also can add a baby cot upon request. If you book for 2 people our standard prep for the room will be to get the double bed ready. If you prefer to have two seperate beds, please let us know and we can adjust accordingly.

The studio with bathroom are all yours! So is the (shared) garden. Please be aware that we live at the back of the house so you might see us around, though we are mindful of your privacy!
