'Pete's place was a great getaway. Just a quick drive to some great hikes in Shenandoah National Park. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Plan to visit again in the fall!'

'This is a happy little cottage near a small stream. The house was wonderfully clean, decorated in happy friendly colors and very comfortable. It is situated close to many attractions and a great spot for bicycling up to the Blue Ridge, or if you are not that ambitious, staying on the quiet roads in the bottom of the Shenandoah valley. A set of great porches for watching the sun rise or set really enhanced our stay. We were expecting a bit more of a creek, the canoe would be good for kids to play...

'I could not possibly have enjoyed my stay anymore! The views were beautiful and the hiking paths were astounding. My stay was during the time when the leaves were changing and falling. It was truly unbelievably beautiful! I visited the winery called Revelation in the Hebron Valley. The sunset was beautiful and the wine was delicious. The Blue Ridge Mountains were gorgeous and I also visited the Shanandoah river. I just couldn't get enough of the area and I can't wait to come back! Well done...

'The suite has everything you need and more! There is a fireplace, a spa bath, and rain-shower head shower, comfy king size bed and a full size kitchen with snacks. Even the bath mats felt so luxurious. The photos don’t do the place justice. It’s also within a short walk to the main areas downtown so it’s in a great location. Larry and his wife Janine were the best hosts-incredibly nice and cared that we had a comfortable stay. I would absolutely return. Thank you!!'

'We had an amazing time and my train obsessed 2 year old LOVED that the trains were across the street! They even have a train museum and large model train across the street. There’s an adorable little icecream spot around the corner we walked to and had a blast. The bed was comfy, the studio was super clean and welcoming and it perfectly suited our needs for the weekend. We had a blast at elkton brewing, enjoyed some fresh pizza, local trails and hiked some larger trails on our way out of town....

'The property itself met my expectations and was pleasant to stay at, however, upon check-in i was told that there would be an extra cleaning fee (expedia wont let me include the price but it was a good amount). I was a little surprised and wished they had made that more clear before i booked the property, but at that point i had to pay the fee. Following that, we were given a checklist of our duties upon checkout that included stripping the beds, washing all dishes, taking out the trash,...
