'Beautiful elegant room and a super comfortable bed. The grounds and gardens were delightful. Our host was lovely and helpful. My only negative is the horrible acrylic blankets on the bed, hot and uncomfortable to sleep under. We will be back with byo blankets.'

Breakfast (included) wasplentiful with good choices for everyone. Othe resort facilities are very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. This is an excellent value for money resort.'

'Prima verblijf voor een aantal nachten. Vooraf inchecken en een kamersleutel krijgen is niet aan te raden. Ging bij ons mis en moesten de fysieke kamersleutel ophalen in een ander hotel. Kamers waren zeer gedateerd en versleten. Verder hele leuke omgeving met als hoogtepunt een wijnproeverij bij Oakvale. Voor $10 per persoon krijg je een stuk of 8 wijnen te proeven. Restaurant bij het hotel is super gezellig!'

'We had a pleasant time in Mercure Hunter valley . It is very close to Hunter valley gardens, and village. Excellent location walking distance to places to eat and enjoy coffee etc. Our room had a great view towards the lake and vineyard. Easy parking spot right in front of room area.'

'My room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The motel has an environment friendly policy by offering guests the chance to reuse bath towels etc., instead of having them laundered daily. I enjoyed a room that was quiet even though the motel was heavily booked during my stay.'

'The room itself was great, Booked for 3 guests and one had to take the couch, no roll away available I booked on the day of check in and staff seemed almost annoyed she had to get up to check us in, Quite rudely said you didn’t give any notice so just give me a minute, Desk was unstaffed so it took 10 minutes to work out how to call someone to come give me the key Check in could be managed a whole lot better'
