It was a disappointing stay overall, the only positive points were the location, the beach, the staff, with the servers and entertainment group offering a nice and welcoming service and the spa services. Air conditioning work well, rooms and washrooms were old but decent space wise, side beach view and balcony were small but good. Restaurant and food quality were extremely poor, against the odds the buffet was the best option, offering fresh salads and decent breakfast. Bar menu and drinks were another big disappointment, with cocktails tasting just bad and draft beer in most of the bars not being even cold. The resort is mostly oriented for retired American and Canadian tourists, with night activities being not that exciting for young people, pool being death quiet after 4 due to the sun blockage of the hotel next door and bars being overall really quiet even at night. Beware of the extremely high rating for this place, as a Mexican-Canadian visitor being really honest will not recommend it in general.
