'My husband and I stayed for three nights at Longacre. The owner is very kind. The house is spacious, but I did find it to be a little dated. We stayed in the manor room which was very big but seems like it was decorated from the early 90s. Also, there was no option to lower the temperature in the room, so I had to use a fan from the closet to try to cool the room down. The grounds behind the house are beautiful and peaceful.'

'I stayed in Room 7 and it was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was well appointed with classic features and a modern bathroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even when they weren't onsite. Breakfast at the Farm Bell restaurant was memorable, and I would be a regular if I lived in Charlottesville. 'This was a fantastic property and much nicer than being at a hotel for a week. The grounds are really pretty and the neighborhood is nice for walks. Erin was amazing and it was nice to have coffee in the morning, breakfast provided if you wanted it and a really quiet experience. Note that this is a house from the 1950s and modern amenities are there, but it's definitely like traveling back in time a little bit'
