'There was nothing we needed that this place didn’t have. The fire pit and hot tub were a hit, as was the outdoor cat Norma who hung around. Nice decorating and spotless! 'It was a property that has so much potential. Sadly, it looked deserted when we drove in. The yard and flower beds were unkept. The view was amazing. The interior was beautiful. Not sure just how clean it was. Fridge had handprints all over handles and sheets were so wrinkled. Like I said so much potential but looks like whoever built this either split, died or moved away.'

It would’ve been great if a few more basics were provided for the kitchdn, such as oils, spices, etc. But the whole cabin was so beautiful, in a beautifully isolated location, and everything else we needed was there. 'The Riverside Retreat was a respite from the noise of our lives. We enjoyed the clean, well-supplied VRBO space. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do while we were in Strasburg and the surrounding area. If you stay at the Riverside Retreat, be sure to visit the many historical places around the area. Zoar and the Ohio Erie Canal sites are very interesting, along with Fort Laurens, the first continental outpost of the Ohio Frontier, during the American Revolution.'
