If you stay at the Riverside Retreat, be sure to visit the many historical places around the area. Zoar and the Ohio Erie Canal sites are very interesting, along with Fort Laurens, the first continental outpost of the Ohio Frontier, during the American Revolution.'

'Size was great for the two of us parking was easy 25 ft from the door and the cottage was very clean. Not a bad walk to downtown 12 minute walk to shops and restaurants.'

'The property is absolutely amazing. Luxury amenities like bidets and fireplaces and a hot tub and game room. I appreciate the quality cookware so you can eat at home easily. We also used the grill. The outdoor space was great for suppers and socializing. Plenty of seating and the pool table and game room was family fun for all. Easy driving distance to all the fun Amish country activities. We will definitely come back.'

'We wanted a peaceful getaway and that’s what got at the Buck Shack. We were a short drive with breathtaking views and landscapes. We enjoyed a campfire with s’mores at night. Enjoyed the sound of nature and birds singing. Had excellent communication with host and most everything we needed when we arrived. The indoor decor is rustic and beautifully decorated with small accents and details. Highly recommend!☺️'

It would’ve been great if a few more basics were provided for the kitchdn, such as oils, spices, etc. But the whole cabin was so beautiful, in a beautifully isolated location, and everything else we needed was there. The host was beyond amazing in replying, speedy replies, and very flexible and understanding! Would 100% recommend for a getaway'
