'We loved everything about this hotel. The room was a great size, it was clean and had all the essentials plus more. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. 'To wait till last minute just to release the address is simply not mindful of the requirements of international travelers. Adresses are required for Japan entry purposes. I don’t see any reason to withhold that till last minute. Check in procedures are not required in advance but the actual address to help with logistics and planning and for Japan visitor entry. '
'Great rooms with lots of amenities (welcome brownies, coffee, tea, minibar, slippers, robes, umbrella, etc). Bicycles are available through front desk. Hospitality hour is held nightly with wine, sangria, sake with appetizers. The concierge was extremely helpful. The hotel is about a 9 minute walk from Shinjuku station. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!'

"Dormy Inn Shibuya was an excellent stay for our purposes. Close to Shibuya and Harajuku stations for connections, shopping and eating options. While some staff lacked knowledge of English, they were always extremely helpful. The hotel itself was in fine form, too. Rooms a bit small, but that's Japan for you. And facilities and cleaning services were great. Lovely onsen bathing facilities. Recommended!"

It's in a quiet and safe area and when you look out of the window you are not going to see many neon signs or those typical Tokyo neon lit streets, but you are just a very short drive removed from Shinjuku station which provides more action. You get a personal terrace which I found great. I personally had the view of the park which was amazing. Personally I appreciated the quiet surrounding, but it's a matter of preference. I did not use the common pool but they have one. I did use the gym though. It is a nice clean gym. Putting some weights there would be a nice addition for those of us who like to work with weights instead of doing cardio. All in all, I would say 9/10. Thanks a lot. "
