'AnnaMarie was lovely, and shared some very interesting stories! Her place is on such beautiful land with awesome views. It was far too windy and cold, but we were hoping to use the beautiful fire pit. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine, some drinks, and some snacks! Such a nice touch. 'We had a great stay for a little family retreat in off-season Galena. By renting both suites, we essentially had the house to ourself (less the kitchen proper) which was a wonderful surprise (and pleasant when traveling with kids!) Breakfast was wonderful both days and Kate did an amazing job of giving instruction and making sure we had everything that we needed.'

'Chris and Resa run a wonderful B&B! The house itself is beautiful, and if you like seeing original architectural details of historic buildings, this is the place for you. Breakfast was delicious, and it was hard to pick what our favorite meal was. After a day of shopping on Main Street, it was nice to come back to the house for a charcuterie plate and cookies (both different every day!) and wine. My favorite touch was a homemade brownie waiting for us when we checked into our room - delicious!'
