Onze 3300 vierkante voet huis beschikt over 5 slaapkamers en 4 badkamers en is op 4 hectare gelegen 15 mijl (20 minuten) van het centrum van Durango aan de voet van het prachtige La Plata-gebergte, en grenzend aan de rivier La Plata. De aangrenzende rivier en de nabijheid van de achterland rijkdom van La Plata Canyon zijn ongeëvenaard vanwege hun recreatieve diversiteit en buitengewone vergezichten. Vissen, wandelen, backcountry skiën, vierwielaandrijving en te veel andere buitenactiviteiten om op te noemen zijn recht uit de achterdeur van dit uitzonderlijke pand.

Het Westen draait helemaal om open ruimtes met spectaculaire uitzichten op de bergen. Deze hut in Colorado geeft u zowel de ruimte om te dwalen en de frisse berglucht in te ademen, als de nabijheid van voorzieningen in de omgeving die bijna ongelooflijk gemak bieden, gezien de geweldige landelijke omgeving van het huis. Veel huizen bieden de uitrusting van de westerse levensstijl met hun interieur en log ingericht decor. Dit huis maakt het pakket compleet en is het echte artikel van het westerse leven.

Het huis beschikt over een royaal uitgeruste gastronomische keuken met roestvrijstalen apparaten en 2 woonruimtes waardoor het ideaal is voor meerdere gezinnen en beschikt ook over een pooltafel, veel buitenruimte en een gasbarbecue.

Annuleringen of wijzigingen die resulteren in een verkort verblijf, die worden gedaan binnen vijfenveertig (45) dagen na de aankomstdatum, verbeuren het volledige reserveringsbedrag terwijl annuleringen meer dan vijfenveertig (45) dagen voorafgaand aan uw aankomst slechts vervallen de betaling van $ 300 die is gedaan op het moment van boeking. Voor reserveringen van ten minste dertig (30) nachten wordt het bovenstaande annuleringsbeleid verhoogd tot zestig (60) dagen vóór de aankomstdatum. We bieden wel een reisverzekering aan.

Lovely location and excellent Cabin for big family

Location was great with scenic views around. Cabin was awesome and spacious. Only drawback was we saw a lot of flies inside the bathroom and bedroom floors. But this was notified to us even before we arrived and they offered to clean the house once again. Overall we had awonderful experience.

Pleasant Mountain Getaway

Very nice big space. We had two families get together and we enjoyed the many bedrooms and bathrooms. The communal spaces were well furnished and enjoyable to gather in. The kitchen was well equiped and we had an easy time using the grill. The mountain location was beautiful and a nice break from the heat. I can easily recommend this place to others.

Colorado vacation

Had a great time! Property was very accurately described. We had an issue with the hot water upstairs but it was addressed quickly. The altitude was a problem for some of us coming from Florida and Texas. The kitchen was great and well stocked! Would suggest you make the downstairs bedroom more adult friendly so older guests don’t have to climb the stairs. All in all a great place for large families.

Everything was great, except it was a little warm and the yard hasn’t been mowed all year. They said it was a short walk to the river you couldn’t get through. It was so overgrown and trees had falling in the path. My husband went through and cleared it.

Short but sweet stay

House is in beautiful, serene location. Well laid out with large kitchen, deck, and front lounge area. Bedrooms are spacious. Marked and steep trail down to river for those brave enough to try it. Kitchen had plenty of utensils, two dishwashers, and all appliances but could use a few more basics (salt, sugar, etc) for short stay guests. One of the bathrooms had intermittent hot water during our stay. Was not a big deal and so did not communicate or expect to have it fixed during our stay. Highly recommend the house for location and serenity.

Mountain Escape

Overall the stay was pleasant. The cabin was laid out nicely with four upstairs rooms with two bathrooms and one bedroom with two bathrooms on the main floor. The only thing I would change about the room situation is making the downstairs room a master suite instead of the room with two twins. This way older people or people with bad knees could use this room instead of climbing stairs to share a queen bed. The kitchen has a huge island, two ovens, two dishwashers, and plenty of kitchen ware for any cooking you plan on doing. There is a two tier deck that is nice for enjoying a morning coffee watching the sunrise. However, we found no lights for outside at night so this would be something that would be nice to enjoy the deck in the late evenings. The location of the cabin is excellent. Just what we wanted tucked away in a secluded valley with a river close by. You could hear the water running in the river from the deck outside. Very peaceful. I’d definitely stay here again.

Picture’s don’t do it justice!

The property has amazing views! There were 11 of us and everyone had plenty of room. The path to the creek is overgrown and a little treacherous, but everyone (but me) participated in the adventure. A few of the outdoor furniture pieces could be replaced and I recommend some kind of room deodorizer for when the place sits empty for awhile. Manager was aware of two other issues we were concerned about. We would definitely return!

Hesperus House

Overall, a very enjoyable weekend with kids & grandkids. Grandkids loved the house & wanted to stay forever! Adequate indoor & outdoor space for our group. Several does with new fawns was the highlight Saturday morning. A couple of things that were not so great: door out to the deck is very warped & difficult to open & close, upstairs far bedroom window was hanging on on 1 hinge, the kitchen floor was not clean, & the trail down to the river was so overgrown that we could not use it & the kids really wanted to hike down, trash bins were full so we had to pile on top. Just little things that could be fixed but we had a great time!

Enjoyed it very much, house was wonderful. I would have liked to have had a master bedroom downstairs. Bathroom plugs wouldn't work, even after trying the reset. It did not slow us down as we are very adaptable. Would recommend and stay again.

Hesperus hideaway

Upon arrival at this mountain property, all 8 of us were saying WOW!!! This is AWESOME! The inside of the home was as pictured and even more amazing as we went from room to room. The atrium is just a beautiful add to the rest of the home. The pool table saw lots of fun action. Outside games were played in the large side yard. And the BBQ got some fun use as well. All around.....10+++++

Excellent stay in Hesperus

We hard a fabulous family and friend holiday . The house was beautifully situated, in the mountains with lovely river running through the property. Stunning views . The house was perfectly complete with all amenities required and ample space for family games and relaxing. We managed all sorts of activities: hiking, climbing, swimming, paddle boarding, fly fishing, mountain biking…and relaxing. Wonder’s stay. Thank you

Beautiful, Clean and Well-Appointed!

This house was even better in reality than the photos on the website! It was roomy, well-appointed, clean and situated in a beautiful place. I have no complaints about my stay, but I wish the room layout had been better explained: From the photos it seems like some rooms have sleeping lofts, and that maybe that some bedrooms are only accessible through another bedroom. In fact, due to the unusual architectecture, each room does have loft but with no furniture. Each room is private.

The home was amazing! Everything was more than what we expected. The only thing I would say was a little frustrating, was the amount of bugs in the home, especially when trying to sleep, there were bugs imposing on the beds. Other than that I would say everything was top notch. I would definitely book this property again.

Gret Stay!!

The stay at the house was great! We were very comfortable knowing everything was provided for cooking; bathing; and even having breakfast out on the patio. I wished we would have stayed longer. I enjoyed watching the mamma deer and and her fawns every morning in our front yard. The place was excellent!!

4th of July was a hit here

Excellent home, view spectacular, well stocked kitchen. Clean/ clean/ clean!! Back door needs a bit of Wd 40. Squeaky for sneaking out for early morning coffee to hear the river and the birds. Convenient to Mesa verde and Ouray. Horse back riding and rafting. Durango is cute town.
