'Loved the hotel - unfortunately there was a large group event and some restaurants were closed but overall staff to guest ratio is amazing, great food option although a bit expensive'

'They consider themselves as luxury but they are really not. There were mice droppings ALL OVER the outside of the room in the hallways. Mice droppings in the staircase corners. They have an infestation!!! Also everything is made pretty cheap (furniture, decor, etc). The staff was overwhelmed with the occupancy the week we were there. Would not come back. Hector at the pool and beach was great!! And the lady that did the margarita class was awesome!'

'Beautiful resort. Suggest having options available for people who have later flights - i.e. more generous late checkout options or at least access to lockers and showers. Candidly, for the cost, the resort had limited things to do aside from sitting by the pool.'

'Our Villa was not on the beach but it was spectacular. With a private pool and jacuzzi. It was family-friendly. Many activities for the kids. Bicycles were given to each family member. The beach area is amazing. It has a great restaurant and a nice pool. The restaurants at the hotel and at the other Mayakoba hotels are very good. The best part is the staff. They accommodate and coordinate everything you want. Our personal concierge Madai was GREAT! '

'The hotel is nice, but I wouldn’t visit again. The bungalows are dated and the water below is murky and filled with seaweed. We couldn’t use the beach, because of the seaweed.
