'First day, I found a cockroach in the washroom. Very peaceful. I read the review that the food is very nice and delicious. I dont think the food is nice. My last night, the drunk guests was yelling and screaming in the halkway that I woke up at 2am. I complained to the resort. It seems they dont really care '

'Super hotel with all the luxury you need. The staff is very helpfull and always there for you. The food is very delicious although I prefer a buffet breakfast so you can have a little bit of everything. Also the beach and pool and super. The spa experience is also defenitly a must.'

'The only complaint is the pool chair game. Had to get up early (5:00 am) to secure a pool chair. Otherwise everything was perfect!'

'Absolutely wonderful place! Beautiful, relaxing, and everything smells so good! My only complaint is the pool is unheated! My 2.5 year old had purple lips within 10 minutes of playing in it in 80° weather. The pool largely remains empty, as it’s just too uncomfortable.'

'We found a stay overall relaxing and enjoyable, but there are a few things that make the resort lacking. The pool does have an incredible view but there is only one pool with limited loungers and daybeds - we were always able to secure one. There was public and private beach access, but no loungers or staffing. If you need to use a daybed or lounger down to the beach, the staff would have to bring it out to you. 'Heel vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamer, prachtig strand. De kamer is wel wat gedateerd. Het eten is heerlijk (wel enkel a la carte). Jammer van de sargassum maar blijkbaar was het juist een hele slechte periode.'

'They consider themselves as luxury but they are really not. There were mice droppings ALL OVER the outside of the room in the hallways. Mice droppings in the staircase corners. They have an infestation!!! Also everything is made pretty cheap (furniture, decor, etc). The staff was overwhelmed with the occupancy the week we were there. Would not come back. Hector at the pool and beach was great!! And the lady that did the margarita class was awesome!'

'Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at in this hemisphere.* We stayed in a penthouse suite in the Fairmont's Heritage Place area. The place was immaculate, quiet, spacious, with a great modern kitchen. An in suite bathroom for each of three rooms, and an extra powder room. There are beautiful pools *everywhere*, never crowded. The beach is maybe a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride away. The bikes are well maintained, but single speed, so I had to adjust the seat height to get enough...

'We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride...

'The staff at check in and out could use some hospitality training - this is our 4th stay and this has never improved although overall service at the resort has significantly improved aside from this. The amenities and location are wonderful and it is a beautiful resort. The waiters at the beach were excellent as always and should be given a shout out including Victor, Juan and Edwin'

'This is not a 5 star hotel. You can not swim in the sea at this hotel However, the staff is friendly, the food is good and they have many swimming pools. Rooms are outdated but clean and dark. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and good drinks everywhere!'

'I truly enjoyed my solo stay here for a couple days ocean view from the infinity pool is breathtaking! The room was beautiful the shower. Was amazing the aroma around the whole property smelled so good !! Enjoyed the full moon celebration they had one night with live music and they had a telescope for amazing views of the moon !
