'Good things first. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The proximity to a nice family beach is a 2 min walk away. The bad. Over priced. Both airconditioners didn't work. Bad smells from blocked drains and there is a building site right next door. Jack hammers and noisy 3 out of 7 days. Cant stay in room. Also taxi ride to main tourist strip.'

'We really enjoyed the Impressions section of this resort, and it significantly influenced my overall review. The layout of the resort is very nice, and our Ocean View room was beautiful. Our butlers were outstanding as well. However, the resort became overcrowded from Thursday to Sunday, making it nearly impossible to get a drink at any bar on the property. We often had to retreat to the Impressions lobby and their restaurant upstairs. I wasn’t particularly fond of the suggested reservation...

'We really liked the surrounding area, not in the busy Centre of Playa del Carmen but in a quite and very safe part. Everything we wanted to see or visit was within walking distance. The room was average and smelled a bit musky.'
