'Excellent staff'

'Our Villa was not on the beach but it was spectacular. With a private pool and jacuzzi. It was family-friendly. Many activities for the kids. Bicycles were given to each family member. The beach area is amazing. It has a great restaurant and a nice pool. The restaurants at the hotel and at the other Mayakoba hotels are very good. The best part is the staff. They accommodate and coordinate everything you want. Our personal concierge Madai was GREAT! '

'The Fairmont Mayakoba is the best resort that I've ever been to. The vibe of the resort is peaceful and relaxing. The staff were incredibly helpful before I even arrived, helping me reserve dinners at the restaurants, my excursions and my spa appointment. They remained attentive throughout my stay. 'The resort is nice, staff is nice as well, food is just ok. Construction is happening on half of the property and drills or saws were going off while we tried to relax at the plaza. The one thing I really didn’t like was the room design, and I mean the new renovated room design. We came with two kids, the bathroom area is blocked off with frosted glass, with a door to the shower, door to the bathroom but NO door to the actual bath/sink area which made it hard to have privacy getting dressed etc....

'De service en personeel in de restaurants waren super vriendelijke en correct. De spa en medewerkers waren zeer correct en vriendelijk. De vele verschillende managers en het personeel van de receptie waren onder maat voor zo'n keten. Als je geen membership wilde kopen dan waren ze opeens niet meer vriendelijk en zelf arrogant naar de gasten toe.'
