Gorgeous Home on the Lake!
This home was beautiful and the perfect size for our 14 people! The upstairs loft was great for the 5 teenage boys we had because they brought their gaming system and just had the best time up there! The whole downstairs was great for the second family that came! We drank coffee on the porch every morning. The walk to the lake is very steep but it was relaxing to sit there and listen to the birds. We were here for Bonnaroo and it was the easiest drive from here. We usually stay in Winchester but this drive was even better. Highly recommend this house for a large group! And the owners made the check in and out process very easy! No stress!

Served our extended family well
Beautiful property that served us well for an extended family get-together. It's hard to find a 6-bedroom property, and while this one is listed as a 5-bedroom, the upstairs media room has double bunks, and worked as a 6th bedroom for kids. The down side of both this bunk room and the basement one is the sound issue. There is no door on the upstairs room (which is why I now understand why it's not considered a bedroom), and the barn door on the basement bunk room does not close tightly to keep out sound and light. (Note that there is no bathroom on that 3rd level, but there is one at the bottom of the stairs that also serves the queen bedroom, where an elderly parent slept, which worked well.) Mealtimes are a big deal for us to all eat together. We had 13 at this property, and the only dining table seated about 9 or so, with no space to add an extra table, but we made it work. (There are 3 bar stools at the island.) The kitchen was well-stocked enough but you should bring your own coffee/tea and food storage containers (there were none). We also brought some nightlights which ended up being helpful. We were there after Christmas and several of us managed the steep walk down to the water and kayaked on a couple of the nicer days. That was a plus. Water levels are controlled on this lake and were lowered about 20'. (Docks of properties on the other side of the lake were out of the water.) Tara was very responsive and accommodating to a couple of special requests we had.

A summer family get away.
Our family of 11 enjoyed the house very much. The bedrooms and bath rooms were set up in a convenient way for us. The grands enjoyed the theater room for their games and we all enjoyed it for a couple of movie nights. Boating was close by, too. The kayaks and the lilypad was a hit even for the older grands! It's quite a trek up the stairs from the dock to the house though!

Spacious house
House is great and spacious for a large group. Walk to lake is steep and unpleasant. Kitchen was not well stocked, if you like to cook. We had to go but several basic kitchen items. Grass was overgrown for our entire week.

Tim’s Ford Family Trip
This property was perfect for our family trip! We have spent four summers in a row at Tim’s Ford, and this was one of the best ( if not THE best house)! We have two ski boats, and the dock was a nice size for both boats. There is a ramp that is only a couple of minutes to the dock. There are steps, but not near as steep of a climb as we have had at previous homes on the lake. The house was very clean, and plenty of room for our family. There are two bunk rooms, which is very nice for the kids! They loved them! The theatre room is spacious with large comfortable chairs. Every bedroom, except the bunk rooms, has an adjoining bathroom. The basement is great with another kitchen, bar, sitting area and pool table. There is also a fire pit on the back patio, which is perfect for s’mores! They even had the stakes for marshmallows! We did use door dash a couple of times. It was so nice to not have to get out if you didn’t want to. Twin Creeks Marina was only about 20 minutes away by boat, and the whole family enjoyed their outdoor restaurant. The communication with the property owner was prompt and very helpful! We highly recommend this property!

Friends vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed the house, location and all of its amenities. With 5 families and lots of kids it was large enough to hold us all. The doc was perfect for our boats and the kayaks! A perfect week with our friends. The one small issue we had with house the owners addressed immediately and was fixed.

Overall great stay
The house was perfect size for a family of eight adults and 8 kids. The lake itself is great, but the walk down from the house to the dock was pretty lengthy, especially for little kids. We also had an issue with the trash, and the back screened in porch had not been swept. The beds were great, nice to have toiletries in the bathrooms. Might want to think about adding a crockpot to the kitchen ware. Overall great stay.
