2-bedroom, 2-bathroom farmhouse with a fully-stocked kitchen, high-speed internet, full-size washer and dryer, brand-new outdoor grill, screened-in back patio, large covered parking area, and fire pit overlooking acres of horse pasture. Farmhouse is completely updated and ready for your next getaway, escape from the city, University visit, or Gators game.

Located in the heart of springs country, outdoor adventures are just a short drive away, including kayaking, paddle-boarding, diving, hiking, swimming, or simply tubing down our beautiful rivers and crystal clear spring runs. Fifteen minutes to Blue Grotto Dive Resort, Devil’s Den Spring, and Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens in Williston, 30 minutes to Ginnie Springs and the town of High Springs, 40 minutes to Ichetucknee Springs State Park, Rainbow River State Park, and the unique and charming coastal Gulf town of Cedar Key. Beautiful Payne’s Prairie State Park is also a quick drive away and is surrounded by the rolling hills and pastures of Northern Ocala’s magnificent horse country.

Not the best place in the world to stay
We walked into the house and found on rugs in bedrooms and on floors in the house. The kitchen countertops and dining room table were all sticky. We both could not handle the air quality in the house so I changed the air filter with a new one. The filter in the unit was a medium to dark grey color from all of the dust which made the air quality not very desirable. Everything else about the house was fine inside and out. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but it was not good. I hope whoever cleans the house does a better job next time.

We had a nice quiet stay at this clean cozy home. The beds were great, no complaints about the house just a little drive to the stadium, but we knew that. Thanks for the hospitality.

Very comfortable
Loved the vibe here. It was very a comfortable environment. My son and daughter loved the animals and swing….. oh and the telescope. It was quiet and less traffic then where the hotels are. Only downfall to speak of was the lighting in the front if the house at night. There’s a porch light but it does not reach to where you park and unload. Also the bathroom In the master is super tight. I’m a medium sized (5’2 size 8-10) girl and it was fine but a tall or plumper person might not love it. Super cute though and there is also ample room in the hall bath.

Love love this place!
I literally can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. The beds were comfy. Everything was perfect. One of the best parts was snuggling Hal , Lefty & (can’t remember the white horses name) but so sweet. Would highly recommend. We will definitely make plans to come back.

Wonderful stay at Archer Farmhouse
Loved it! The animals on the property are so sweet and friendly. We loved how talkative the donkeys are! House was clean, tidy, and cozy. We felt very at home here. Thank you!

SIMPLY AMAZING! 10 STARS AT LEAST!! (Plus goats!)
We used the property as a home base for my daughters wedding which was only 15 minutes away- I have rented VRBO for years- all over the country. And when I say that this property was exceptional it is not an exaggeration! From communication to cleanliness there is nothing I would change. Modern conveniences and beautifully updated. Far enough from the city to enjoy the stars but close enough that almost everything is convenient. We hosted a post wedding cookout the day after the wedding- the property was perfect for this. The pole barn served as the perfect place to set up table and chairs and accommodated 30 people without a problem. The grill was not only new but a great size for cooking for a crowd. Plenty of space for parking… The animals? What can I say other than WOW! Jackie the caretaker was so kind and even brought over her baby goat for the kids (and some adults) to see. The property served as the most perfect, relaxing, and warm exclamation point on a very exciting weekend. Everyone loved the wedding but they raved about the cookout at the beautiful farm! We will DEFINITELY spread the word because this property is truly one of a kind! I know I used perfect about a hundred times in this review- but that’s what it is- simply perfect.
