Welkom bij "The Happy Soul"

Als ik aan dit huis denk, denk ik aan het citaat "Laat alles wat je doet in LIEFDE gebeuren". Het is echt een werk van LIEFDE geweest om "The Doll House" te herstellen. We zijn de beste gastheer en zijn verheugd om dit toe te voegen aan onze lijst met huurwoningen. We hebben deze 1940's Bungalow volledig omgetoverd tot een plek om uit te rusten en je ziel te herstellen. Dit luxe en luxe huis zal u niet teleurstellen met alle moderne gemakken die nodig zijn tijdens het verkennen van onze omgeving. Gloucester Courthouse werd gebouwd in 1766 en is een van de oudste gerechtsgebouwen die nog steeds in gebruik is. Wandel of huur een boot in Beaverdam Park, geniet van chardonnay in een nabijgelegen wijnmakerij, dineer in een van de uitstekende eetgelegenheden van Gloucester, winkel in speciaalzaken en gastronomische winkels, bezoek antiekwinkels, lokale stranden, koop verse lokale zeevruchten en producten van onze boerenmarkt en vele andere attracties om uw vakantie jarenlang onvergetelijk te houden. De open plattegrond leent zich uitstekend voor entertainment en het dek plus een gestempeld betonnen terras is zeker de favoriete plek van het gezin voor maaltijden of koffie in de ochtend. Alle slaapkamers hebben high-end traagschuimmatrassen. Ingericht met zorg en aandacht voor detail, zal dit huis ontspanning en plezier aanmoedigen. Gloucester Courthouse ligt op 8 km, Yorktown 20 mijl, Colonial Williamsburg, Bush Gardens en Water Country op 35 km van de accommodatie. LET OP: We verhuren niet aan personen onder de 25 jaar. We staan ook huisdieren op elk moment niet toe. We wonen dichtbij als je iets nodig hebt!

This place is AMAZING! Just no words to describe how inviting, comfortable and FESTIVE! My family loved it and we were very APPRECIATIVE of the extra joy this home brought to our vacation and special occasion.

We absolutely loved this cottage. It had such curb appeal. The owners went out of their way to provide so much information in the welcome notebook and in stocking everything needed in the home except the food. The interior decor was amazing. The place was immaculate. When my two little granddaughters visited one day, they loved the cubby at the top of the stairs. The internet and the TV streaming worked like a charm. We will stay there again if we get the chance to return to the area. I highly recommend the Bee Haven. Thank you so much - it was truly a privilege to stay there.

This place was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, we felt at home! It was immaculately clean, adorably and thoughtfully decorated, and had more than enough space for us to stretch out and unwind at the end of the day. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to enjoy this wonderful home!

It was a perfect retreat after fun (but long) days visiting the historical sites in the area. It was very convenient to Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. The house was extremely clean!! And had so many consumables that are often not included - we didn’t need anything that we didn’t bring or wasn’t included. The floor plan worked out very well for our 3 generation family. The only hiccup was we weren’t given the correct code at check in but the property manager was very helpful and quick to get us in! The old county store was a wonderful spot to visit for gifts and the coffee is wonderful! And the swing was a HUGE hit with the kids! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us!! Highly recommended!

Cleanliness is huge for me! This house is extremely clean, has everything you need, cozy and comfortable. We wanted to visit Williamsburg/Busch Gardens and it was an easy drive. The town is quaint and has some great restaurants (love Lulu Bird). Thank you for a great stay! Already scheduling to stay here again next year.

It was so nice to arrive at this lovely clean home with comfy beds! Due to flight delays we arrived at 2 am. Luckily, we know the area well and found the house easily. The house is so welcoming and cozy. The instructions we received ahead of our arrival told us everything we needed to know. We enjoyed long runs in the woods followed by a breakfast made in the well-stocked kitchen and coffee on the porch. I love that all the light switches were well marked, the bathroom towels ample and Wi-Fi strong. Could not have asked for more! Thank you and we look forward to renting your home again!

This home and its property is absolutely the BEST experience we have ever had in a VRBO. We give this experience five stars from beginning to end. The home was spotless, stocked with all your needs and more. The attention to detail to have their guests comfortable were impressive. The property is quite and beautiful. Overall we were absolutely in love with this home, it was beautiful top to bottom and inside and out! Plenty of room for couples and families, and a fun surprise room upstairs! We called it our Harry Potter hole haha. Will definitely book again for trips and recommend to others!

Excellent place to stay. In the country you can hear roosters in the distance in the mornings outside only. Went to Williamsburg one day from the home went to Richmond for the NASCAR race. The house is very centrally located for that area.

We viewed this home as we were visiting family for a graduation. Our host Shannon was the best- from start to finish. She communicated with us about local spots to eat and things to do around town. This home is close to Gloucester Main Street and just down the road to Gloucester Point and Yorktown Beaches. The house is furnished with all the amenities you need, and the beds are so comfortable we had the best night sleep. Look no further and go ahead and book your trip now.

We were there to explore Jamestown and Yorktown. The area is just beautiful. The cottage is gorgeous. We loved it. Everything we needed. The only negative (owner has no control over) is cell phone coverage. I have T mobile. No service at the house and very spotty coverage everywhere else. The general store down the street is fantastic. Very nice people. The lady said Verison is about the only good service there. Olivia's restaurant was delicious. The owner is a super nice guy. He was roaming the tables and talked with all his customers. I would love to return someday and stay longer to further explore the area. Trust me you will fall in love.

This was such a pefect little home! The layout was very clean and comfortable and there was a perfect backyard for our son to play. Very convenient to the cute historical town of Gloucester and Yorktown. They had a nice notebook of recommendations for anything you needed. Would definitely stay again!
