'The room smelled like cigarette'

'Our room was gross. There were hand prints on the door. Dirty towels folded like they were clean. Marks all over the walls. Peeling wallpaper. The AC was out in the lobby/breakfast area. The fitness room was dated, dirty, no towels and broken equipment. We were only given 2 towels for 3 people the entire stay. When I asked for additional towels, I was given an attitude. When I explained the room situation I did not get an apology. Nice location.'

'Staff at Hampton inns are always happy and helpful. We got in close to 7 PM and I just mentioned to the front desk if they usually have cookies out, so she made a point to go bake some.'

'20 minutes waiting on hotel staff to check in. Manager agreed to an early (check out but never placed notes on account. Hotel was EXTREMELY loud due to kids baseball tourney in area... hence the need for an early day before check out...'

'I've stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot in Short Pump several times. The location is excellent. It's close to good shopping, nice restaurants and most important my mom's assisted living facility. The staff is always friendly and helpful. And the rooms are very comfortable. It's a great stay particularly for what they charge.'

'The location and price were good for our stay. The bed was awful, as were the linens. The room was not cleaned of straightened up after the first day. No blow dry in room, but got us one. No USB ports, which caused us to go buy additional plug ins for our devices. We won’t stay in another. Very disappointing.'
