'We liked that the property was very nice - charming, rustic, nicely furnished and decorated; I liked the stairs down the hill, liked the hot tub, the television was nice. . . . The bed was not the best - could have been a firmer mattress. Please, get some pull-down, dark shades OR curtains that close across all the way. 'The Pocket City Penthouse looked like a winner when we were hunting out a special place to stay for our anniversary -- and it turns out it was the jackpot! Truly, everything was perfect, from the beautifully appointed apartment and cook's kitchen, to the amazing views -- to the town of McGregor, itself. We loved the little stores and restaurants nearby (those that were open so early in the season), and the surroundings were perfect, the trains, the riverboats, and the green hills with Pikes...
