Just OK - Probably Wouldn't Stay Again
So honestly I'm torn. The property manager, Rick, was very nice, the location was good and the fact that we could book just a weekend (not week) in the dead of summer was great. They also let us bring our dog and the home was relatively clean, those were all pros! But then there were cons, like... - No Wi-Fi or even basic cable (just some old DVDs) - Home is VERY hot, even on a cool weekend. There is no AC and just two small window fans which we had to install. Not a lot of windows have screens to open and all of the skylight windows are completely uncovered and radiate heat. It was a cool 60's and 70's during our stay but I would NOT recommend this home typically for the summer. I realize not having central AC is common, but a better window AC or fan situation would do wonders - Limited hot water - While home was clean it's very old and could use some TLC; we also found a number of spiders and spiderwebs - No lights in the stairway/upstairs hallway, which is also very small and definitely not to current home build codes - A number of outlets did not work So there you have it. If you want a last-minute getaway for a great deal then go for it. But definitely don't expect too much!

Needs TLC
A tear down. Old and dilapidated. Better than camping though. Functional. Cleaning fee ridiculous.

Needs updating
Spider is everywhere throughout the house. No TV and no Wi-Fi which is a necessity these days. Damp and musty smell throughout the house. Since no AC in the house, we cannot open the bedroom windows that were missing screens for ventilation on a hot summer night. The house does not appear to have a heating system. It was cold for one of the evenings when the temperature dropped into the low 60"s. We ended up staying at a hotel for the night. We had to unclog the tub drain which was filling up during a shower.

It's just ok
It was a hot weekend and the house has no AC. We could only open a window in one of the bedrooms because the other bedroom has no mosquito screens on the window. The second bedroom has 2 fans but it was still very hot. The rooms also have blinds only in one of the windows. The cleaning fee is very high - the house rules say you basically have to clean it yourself. Will not stay here again
