Stone Cottage gelegen in het historische Arthur Circus

Dit prachtige 1848 prachtig gerenoveerde cottage met 3 slaapkamers gelegen in het bekende Arthur Circus in Battery Point is de ideale uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van deze zeer schilderachtige omgeving en slechts enkele minuten van Salamanca, de waterkant en de stad van Hobart.

Gelegen tussen enkele van de leukste cafés en retaurants in Battery Point en op slechts een korte loopafstand van de bekendste restaurants van Hobart en unieke lokale kunst- en ambachtsgalerijen zal de locatie u zeker bevallen.

Op slechts enkele minuten afstand ligt de beroemde Salamanca-markt die elke zaterdag wordt gehouden, waar u enkele van de beste producten van Tasmanië kunt kopen of naar de waterkant kunt wandelen om de veerboot naar MONA te pakken! Gezinnen zullen ook genieten van het park met schommel direct bij onze voordeur!

Het pand is elegant ingericht met Tasmaanse balken en zal zeker indruk maken. Elke slaapkamer heeft een queen size bed, dus geschikt voor 3 stellen, 3 eenpersoonskamers of een gezin. Er is parkeergelegenheid op straat, uniek in dit gebied, plus een eigen en zonnige binnenplaats waar u na een zware dag sightseeing kunt genieten van een ontspannend drankje!

De goed uitgeruste keuken en de badkamer, met apart toilet, zijn beide volledig gerenoveerd en zijn voorzien van stijlvolle apparatuur. Het huisje is voorzien van elektrische verwarming zodat u er zeker van kunt zijn dat u warm blijft tijdens de wintermaanden en dat beddengoed en linnengoed van de hoogste kwaliteit zijn.

De voorraadkast is gevuld met alle basisbenodigdheden die u nodig heeft en het koffiezetapparaat en verse koffie zijn altijd populair bij onze gasten.

Lovely historic cottage

Our family of three adults had a lovely stay at the Stone Cottage. So well maintained and provisioned with everything we needed, a modern kitchen, back courtyard and really comfortable beds. It's such a great location, both for its history and its closeness to so many interesting sites, including Salamanca and the wharves. Suzanne was so helpful in emailing all the information necessary before we arrived.

Little gem

Perfect place in which to explore Hobart. Cafes within minutes walk and Salamanca market less than 10minutes walk. The beds were comfortable, the shower powerful, well equipped kitchen. Having the outdoor space to sit in the evening was lovely too. We would definitely recommend.

Fantastic location and beautiful cottage. Suzanne was so helpful and concerned when she had not heard from us. Suzanne was great to communicate with. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend the property. The upstairs bedroom was a very steep climb and a little warm at night due to lack of ventilation. There was only a tiny window that did not open very far; however, we would not hesitate to stay there again.

Fabulous cottage in super position

Surprizingly quiet for its high profile beautiful position. Comfortable beds. very kind hostess who let us check in early after I had broken my wrist. we would all love to stay again. highly recc. the japanese restaurant around the corner- 3J/ 63 degrees.

Work trip to Hobart

We were required to travel to Hobart for work at short notice and required a place to stay for three adults. Communication with the host was exceptional, and Suzanne was very accommodating to our requirements. The cottage was immaculate and located in a lovely part of Hobart well within walking distance to Salamanca Pl. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate booking again.

Perfect location

My daughter and I enjoyed our 3 nights at Stone Cottage. Arthur Circus is a special location with original architecture; the cottages that make up the circus having been lovingly restored. Hampden Rd Battery Point has Jackman and McRoss cafe and a fabulous family owned and run Italian restaurant, both not to be missed. Battery Point architecture is fabulous, walk around the streets to admire. A self guided 'Bobby's Walk' booklet is free from the post office next to the cafe. Salamanca Place and the harbour is a 10 minute walk. The kitchen was well equipped with everything one needs to cook a meal. We wanted to experience all the restaurants so we didn't cook. Aloft and Peppina restaurants were both excellent. We had a wonderful stay.

Great Location and very clean and comfortable

Checkin was seamless, excellent communication from the host. The property is well appointed and very clean. I cannot fault the location, very central and safe location in Battery Point with an easy stroll to Salamanca and dock. There is onsite parking that is squeezy. This was not a problem for us as it was communicated well beforehand and we were able to choose an appropriate hire car. Just don’t be surprised if you have a full size SUV and it doesn’t fit. Will definitely stay at Stone Cottage when we next travel to Hobart.

Loved the rich history

We had a wonderful stay in the Stone Cottage . The position is so central so we’re able to walk everywhere. I loved the history of Authurs Circus & spent some time just sitting under the lovely trees . The house itself was a stand out . So clean & comfy, especially the beds . We also loved being able to sit outside , out the back of an evening . Suzanne was always available for information & we had delicious meals just around the corner at the restaurants recommended to us .

This is a lovely little property and very well appointed. The location is amazing and we’d recommend hiring a compact car so you guarantee parking (drive is very narrow) Walking distance to bars and shops but also easy to jump into the car and go out to explore. Whilst we didn’t use it, the stairs to upstairs bedroom are steep so near that in mind if you plan to use it. Suzanne the host, is at hand if needed. Thanks Andrew and Elaine from the UK

Property was fantastic! 3 lovely bedrooms (one upstairs teenage son loved); much needed laundry facilities; comfortable longe and kitchen; and location unreal. The street is like no other and a real experience when staying in Hobart! Would highly recommend.
