'Peggy and Gary are wonderful hosts at the beautiful Riverside Lodge Bed and Breakfast which is sandwiched between the Honga River and Chesapeake Bay. 'Our families visit to the Eastern Shore was in memory of my son. This was his happy place. We chose the Cabin life house. It was perfect for our families brief stay. The hot tub was a hit as well as the water view in the back yard. We especially enjoyed watching the wild life. '

'My stay was fine, I am planning on booking the room again for two nights. The only complaint I have is there was ants in the room. I went out and bought ant spray. They were on the air conditioner unit, that is where I first noticed them. That was a small thing to a giant. All in all the room was very clean, the environment was very quiet and relaxing; especially when just getting off work from a nine hour day and working in the heat. My fiance found this hotel for me and I am VERY satisfied....

'I actually had to cancel my stay as I stood in the lobby. My mother has dementia and just wanted to get home. She and I had a very tense time in the parking lot, but clerk Marisa was such a big help! She offered snacks for my mother and tried desperately to see if the stay could be tefunded. (It couldn’t). Because of her kindness and the kindness of a bystander, LeAnn, I give this hotel 5 stars! '

'The place was nice, clean, cozy, and comfortable. The bedrooms were so spacious. I loved that Lisa, the host, provided a lot of useful items for the stay (laundry detergent, towels, bedsheets, hand soap, even shampoo and conditioner, etc.). Lisa put a lot of thought and care into the place. She was also very responsive when I had questions and contacted her a few times before the stay. There were many places to visit nearby and within driving distance to entertain our kids. It was a great stay!'

'Beautiful property within walking distance of multiple restaurants. Came here for the half Ironman and it was great to be close to the venue. The church bell did ring several times through the night which didn wake me up. Will definitely stay here again!'
