'The space was comfortable for our family of 4 while we were in town. Walkable to downtown was nice. Hoped the breakfast would include homemade or local items but was a basic store bought selection, less than a continental hotel breakfast. Guests should be okay with street noise when staying in this unit. Nicely decorated!'

'Locating the property was pretty easy and there was ample parking. The building itself is a bit older and is showing its age on the outside and inside. You can tell the host is in the process of trying to upgrade some things, but it doesn't impair any functionality. Unless i am booking a resort, where the room is the destination and focus of the trip, I am looking for safety, quiet, and sleep. This delivered all three of those things. 'We needed a place for the weekend for our daughters wedding. Since we were traveling with the cake, we needed a place with a refrigerator. The owner was very kind with his message, the front desk staffers were so polite, and the breakfast was a bonus, so we didn’t have to rush around to find something to eat before the wedding festivities started. Perfect stay!'

'We reserved a 2 bedroom condo with a king, 2 queens and a sofa bed. When we arrived it was actually an extended stay hotel that had over booked. We received 2 rooms with 1 queen each and 2 sofa beds. In addition to not having my family together in one unit, there was no space away from beds to be social and one of my adult sons and his girlfriend were on a sleeper couch. I was so disappointed with the lack of help from “Leavetown” who I guess the booking was through. After several conversations...

'This place was terrible. Should never have been listed. Ceilings dirty, previously wet and sagging. Carpet ripped and FILTHY. Horrible patchwork pink paint covering dirt and graffiti in the hallway. Host never responded with entry information. It was all bad. Vrbo did set me up in a hotel for 3 of my 5 nights then I had to find lodging for the rest of my stay Awaiting my refund for that.'

'Property Manager was very nice and made the whole process easy. Beautiful home with lots of amenities. Really clean and comfortable home. Stayed three night and wish we had more time to enjoy it. Cute neighborhood as well and would definitely stay here again.'

'First and foremost, Shane, the renter, was amazing to deal with. Always answered my questions quickly. Home was perfect for a girls weekend celebrating a 50th birthday. The location is amazing on the lake. Saw a loon, a swan and an albino squirrel. Kitchen had plenty of everything you need. Beds were SUPER comfortable. Some things are a little dated, but never bothered us. I can't wait to plan another girls weekend here!'

'We were in town for a family wedding in East Lansing with the reception at Crystal Gardens in Howell. Perfect property and location for out of town large families traveling to stay and relax for an event or reunion. 2 Bedrooms upstairs in the main house and 1 bedroom downstairs and 1 large bedroom with bunks with a full bathroom in the garage. The cousins enjoyed the game room in the garage - complete with ping-pong, table shuffle board, video game console, and wet bar. Hot Tub, Kayaks, and...

'The hosts went above and beyond putting up a Christmas tree for our Christmas stay. The house was clean with plenty of space, and plenty of dishes and pots and pans. Our sleeping arrangements were a bit odd due to toddlers, but we made it work. Host was super responsive! FYI the coffee maker is a Keurig.'
