'We came as a family to visit with family in the area. The home was very well maintained and clean. All appliances, bedding and towels were great quality. The house was spacious and had plenty of room to spread out. The location was great with an amazing view. Would highly recommend.'

'The house was clean and full of extras such as a multi function game table, shelves of assorted boxed games & cards. There was a large deck with a large BBQ. All the rooms a large family would need. Clean and functional kitchen. A responsive owner that was immediately available for any questions. The view of the lake was delightful. If you find yourself in the Poultney VT. vicinity, this is the place to stay.'

'We had a great time at this property. We loved the location, had a great time in the game room and were overall thrilled w our vacation. We had everything we needed to cook at home and we slept great on the comfy mattresses. We could not get the fireplace to work, but that had no impact on our stay. Thank you!'

'Very nice stay, a couple of minor settling in issues such as one toilet not working but this was sorted out quickly. A minor point was that there were no curtains anywhere in the house. Not bothered about people seeing in as the property is not overlooked but meant we woke up when the sun came up.'

'We loved our stay. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for our family. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen ever. Better than being at home even! Really loved the porch area for storing ski gear. The hot tub felt great. Loved all the windows. So much light and great view. The only small draw back was it’s not a true ski in ski out. The trail is close but you do need to walk a bit to get to it. Overall we had a great visit and would stay here again!'

'Lovely home that has everything you need , located on a very secluded street . you can feel that this home is loved : has lots of great books and beautiful paintings ( home is owned by the artist ) Very cozy with a lot of character and overlooking Lake Champlain . Beautiful terrace . Local stores sell very good produce from nearby farms its organic and very tasty . great hiking at the Green Mountains for people who like forest ; trails are empty ( but about an hour away by car) Or you can walk...

'My 3 young adult sons, my husband, and myself were looking for a location that would bring us within driving distance of totality for the solar eclipse on April 8th. We needed to bring our 4 year old dog who is used to some freedom with an invisible fence at home.This property had plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and hang out rooms for us all to have our space.The land was beautiful and enough for us to take the dog out without worrying about neighbors being bothered, traffic, and the dog running...
