'We loved our stay at Johanna’s Kelafas home. The home was very private, beautifully decorated with many personal touches and everything needed for our stay. The grounds are beautiful, flowers, herbs, fruit trees! We especially enjoyed the fresh grate fruit! Great place to enjoy day trips to the beach, rural villages for an authentic Greek experience and restaurants in the area. Johanna was lovely and very responsive with recommendations to the area. Don’t hesitate to book her place!'

'Wir hatten eine wunderbare und erholsame Zeit in dieser tollen und ruhig gelegenen Unterkunft. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist wunderschön, die Küche ist toll ausgestattet und auch sonst hat uns nichts gefehlt. Ein toller Ort um den Nordwesten Kretas zu erkunden. Der Empfang von Michalis (Liebe Grüße) war sehr herzlich und der Kontakt zur Gastgeberin Maria lief schnell ukd reibungslos. 'Our stay in Spilia was perfect start to finish - Manos was brilliant and on hand for anything we needed throughout (& kept us very well fed!) His booklet full of recommendations was really useful as well, we did/saw/ate lots that we wouldn’t have known about without it. The photos don’t do the villa justice, it’s very private and the flowers and bell tower and mountains in the distance make the most beautiful peaceful surroundings. 'The place is located in a beautiful hilltop with a great view. Inside it is equipped with a decent kitchen. The host is lovely. However it has no internet so you have to rely on a local phone network which is not great because you are in the mountains. Just something to know beforehand. I had to work and had to go to Kalyves when I had meetings. But other than that we enjoyed the great views and the small villages in the area.'

'Ausgesprochen freundliche Vermieter. Dad Haus ist sehr gut gelegen in kleinem Dorf und herrlicher Umgebung. Trotzdem nur wenige Minuten vom Strand, Chania und Rethymno. Sehr schöne Tavernen im Dorf und im Nachbardorf mit ausgezeichnetem griechischem Essen'

'Das Ferienhaus von Sofia und Spyros ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir wurden trotz später Anreise herzlich willkommen. Für das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war alles da und reichte noch paar weitere Tage. Die Betten waren komfortabel und wir haben uns gut erholt. Der Westen Kretas ist mit Mietwagen gut erkundbar. 'Das Doppelhaus liegt nur 50 Schritte von Meer entfernt und liegt absolut ruhig. Die kleine Bucht ist nur wenig belebt und meist ist man dort ganz allein. Mit den Nachbarn teilt man sich eine Terrasse, die durch einen Sichtschutz getrennt ist. Es war ein toller Urlaub und wir kommen gerne wieder'

'Great location. House is 3 bedrooms with 2 baths. Very quiet neighborhood up the hill yet close to Chania old town/Venetian harbor by car. Also close to airport. House is very clean. The view of the sea is amazing with 3 balconies (2 facing the sea). You can enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning without any disturbances. Kitchen is fully equipped, but we only used the kettle and nespresso machine. Host, very responsive and replies within mins to any questions you might have. Great stay'

'We were four adults (two sisters and their husbands). We were enchanted and charmed by this home. The owner, Peter, was incredibly helpful and attentive in every way, and even treated us to a real Cretan dinner the last night of our stay. We laughed so much that evening! 'Schön renoviertes Bauernhaus in ruhigem Tal mit Blick auf Olivenhaine und das Meer. Ausstattung ist ok mit kleinen Schwächen (die Matratze ist wackelig, so dass man geschüttelt wird, wenn der Partner sich umdreht, der Toaster ist etwas fummelig und sollte nicht unbeobachtet betrieben werden). Giannis ist sehr nett und hat uns sogar einmal einen sehr leckeren Auflauf von seiner Mutter gebracht. Man fühlt sich daher sofort wohl. Abends kann man gut auf der Terrasse. ausspannen.
