'This is a beautiful old house in a tiny village up in the hills near Tyros. It's well catered and roomy, and there are nice terraces with plenty of shade. The outside shower is wonderful and there even is a tree that provides you with fresh lemons!'

'It is everything listed! The only issue may be how steep the stairs are, but this is not unusual on Hydra or in Greece for that matter. Things are built upward, not outward so there are usually steep stairs at hotels and even restaurants. I only mention it if you have older or weaker members, they may not be able to use the upstairs. My wife and I had no problems though and we're well over 50! Rania is very easy to work with and attentive! Definitely a great place to stay!'

'This house was absolutely ideal. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, meeting us at the ferry and ensuring everything was set up for our comfort. The location of the house is excellent, with its cleanliness and tastefully done decor standing out. This was one of our best stays in a long while, and we are certainly planning to return.'

'It is Hydra, and there are some steps to be climbed to get to it either on foot or by donkey, but our kind host Theodora has a gem of a property at which to stay close to town. It is very neat and clean, with a little inner courtyard for eating dinner and visiting with friends, and a roof top area that can be climbed via a narrow stair case with great views of the surrounding neighborhood and Hydra Town.
