'We are owners at Massanutten and have been for 30+ years. We would have normally banked our week or bought ahead but with Covid this year nothing seems to be the same. It was very late on the year and my family and I just wanted to get a way for a few days and thought to use VRBO. We booked a condo and it turned out to be in the Sumit area. The condo was recently renovated, very clean and nice views. The only thing we did not know from booking beyond which condo was that we were booked...

'We had a wonderful stay at Massanutten. Our host, Bill, greeted us and suggested things to check out. Bill and his family were friendly and made us feel at home. His grandsons and my kids were instant palls. The location was magnificent, and my boys got their first skiing lessons. We look forward to returning to Massanutten.'

We got there to check in at 330 and nobody had a listing for us to check in at I waited till 430 to finally get a hold of everybody where I could check in they gave me the room key and I went to check the room out and it was filthy trash all over the place people had smoke pot there when I went back up to the management they offered me a restaurant ticket I didn’t want it I took it and I haven’t used it don’t want to use it.They called me 6:45 said the room...

'We enjoyed our stay here immensely! The property was larger and prettier than we realized. We enjoyed exploring the property (and felt safe doing so). We were thrilled to meet some very social cats walking around the grounds, and all of the people we encountered were very friendly as well. The area was somewhat tucked away, so the evenings were perfect for stargazing as there wasn't much light pollution. We would definitely stay here again.'

'Although not the property I intended I'm renting, property management was diligent and finding a replacement, I was uncomfortable and sitting on the quaint they're simply because of the number cobweb on the deck underneath the home. Not so much a property issue but more of a resort issue, I made a reservation for a horse-drawn carriage ride only for them to cancel it 30 minutes prior because of lack of carriage availability.'

'April reservation for July was canceled 2 days prior to check in. Still waiting on 1 day credit after being upgraded for 2 days. Check in is at 4 but cabin wasn’t ready until 6:15 even though previous tenants left the night before. Employees were not friendly at all. No fireworks on the 4th as told on phone. It was quite a fiasco. I would not recommend it. Better value at a beach'

'We stayed here during our wedding weekend celebration at the Golden Horseshoe Inn. The home was perfectly stocked with everything that we needed for our family. We had a great time and will definitely come back.'
