'We loved staying in this classic modern guest house--glass walls that look out on a lovely private patio. Fabian was quick to respond when we had a tiny issue. Neighborhood was also lovely--felt like we were really living in California!'

'We have stayed in the neighborhood previously, and loved being up and away from the bustle of downtown Malibu. The Pool House was a special treat, with fabulous views through big windows, or from a number of outside places to sit, beautiful furnishings, and a well outfitted kitchen, It was a quiet and serene place to return to after a day spent with family. Shannon is great to work with, and very responsive to questions. We hope to stay again, sometime.'

'This location had a beautiful view and serene outside location. Wonderful hosts, helped if we needed anything. We did not realize however it was the lower unit of the house. There were 2 families above us at different times during our stay, and we could hear every footstep from upstairs. Not ideal, I wish we would have known we were the lower unit, so we could expect that. Otherwise a beautiful place and we had a great time in Malibu!'

'We absolutely loved our stay at Colin and Susan’s guest suite, we found ourselves wishing we had gotten to spend more time at the property itself! The hot tub and hammock overlooking the mountains were amazing amenities, we had so much fun horseback riding with Colin and Maura, and the suite was exactly as pictured. Susan even provided some basic groceries in the fridge. Highly recommend, wonderful hosts of a wonderful property!'

If you arrive at night the code key box is the same color as the brick wall it’s hard to find at night and lighting is horrible. There is no way to lock the sliding glass door when you leave it only locks from the inside. The kitchen, the microwave was dirty nasty. 'The property is in a great location, with a Whole Foods just down the block. The house is quiet and nicely appointed with a great bed, nice furniture, good coffee, and wonderful backyard views (take a nap on the hammock and listen to the bamboo sway in the breeze). 'Entrance to property from PCH is difficult to locate even with a map app. Owner said I could "walk" to the beach in correspondence. This includes a walk down the dangerous PCH to get to an underpass. Walking from this property is not easy, stay here if you want to drive everywhere. The owner does not live on the property where there are several units. The loft bed area has a short ceiling. I am 5 ft tall and hit my head several times up there. 'Our family enjoyed the spectacular views of the ocean from every room in the house including the jacuzzi. The house included all the luxurious modern amenities a person could ask for. In the evening we loved telling stories around the outdoor fireplace while listening to the soothing sounds of the beach and staring at the stars. The owner of the house was always available and treated us like family to ensure we had a memorable & comfortable stay.'
