'We (3 generations) spent a lovely, relaxing 5 days here to attend Millikin’s Spring Graduation. The house was great. Very spacious! The kitchen was stocked beyond my expectations, and the view was amazing. We SUP’d, kayaked, and fished (caught 2). I especially appreciated the Roku TV’s that automatically log you out of your accounts at the end of your stay. The house was clean, had great air flow, water pressure, etc. A few, minor, things to mention: 1) entry to the property requires utilizing...

'There is a very strong cat urine smell in the homes basement. This isn’t immediately noticeable due to the amount of air fresheners in home, which is overwhelming in itself. My mother that has asthma could not have stayed here, good thing she backed out. Only other issue was see through curtains. Definitely not a super secure feeling for myself and my sister. Would definitely stay again while visiting family, if these two things were addressed. Overall, nice home.'

'Was very clean and Neighborhood was quiet. I will say that Room Darkening shades and some DW40 to the doors would be helpful for quieting the creaking at night. ;) But everything was awesome !'

'The host was very accommodating with our late check out. The first impression of the house not the best, as the yard needed mowed and the outside could have been cleaned up a bit, but the inside of the house was very nice, and everything was spotless. Overall was a good experience.'

'18 cousins gathered for a reunion with our 93 year old aunt for the first time in over two decades. Although only eight people stayed at the house, it was the perfect gathering spot for our large group. The deck, the dock, inside, outside - so much room to visit in small or large groups. And all the special extras Kenn and Wendy provided were above and beyond. They were attentive, responsive, and had gone the extra mile to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. We’re coming back...

'We had a nice stay at the Holiday House. The decorations made it extra fun! We had 3 adults and 5 small kids — it was nice to let the kids play with toys and in the yard while adults hung out. The hosts were great! We had no issues with our stay, but the hosts were quick to respond when we asked for a recommendation for St. Patrick’s Day festivities.'

'The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and the best of 4 rental houses we have stayed at in Decatur. The owner is VERY responsive to the very few issues we had. The house is well stocked with plenty of towels, supplies and spices/condiments, with great TV's and plenty of social space. Very comfortable with good light, and well maintained. Air conditioning works great also, and very comfortable.'
