Dit privéstrandhuisje beschikt over een gemeenschappelijk aanlegsteiger en zwembad en ligt op slechts een paar kilometer buiten het dorp Oriental.

Deze 2 slaapkamer / 2. 5 bad (er is een 3e kamer die is omgebouwd tot een logeerkamer) cottage kijkt uit over de rivier de Neuse en huisvest zes gasten comfortabel. De plattegrond is omgedraaid met twee slaapkamers, een omgebouwd kantoor, twee volledige badkamers en een aparte wasruimte op de eerste verdieping. De tweede verdieping herbergt een badkamer voor de gasten en een grote open ruimte met hart grenen vloeren die de keuken, eetkamer en woonkamer bevat.

Gewelfde plafonds met zichtbare balken met een goed gevulde keuken en rijkgekleurd mahoniehouten aanrecht. Mooie kastruimte en een openstaand bordenrek bieden de gasten voldoende opbergruimte. De keuken wordt geleverd met een compleet apparaat-elektrisch fornuis, vaatwasser, magnetron, koelkast met ijsblokjesmachine. De open haard met een televisie boven en comfortabel, gezellig meubilair maken dit huisje een plek die u niet snel zult vergeten. Direct buiten de woonkamer en de grote slaapkamer zijn veranda's over de volledige lengte die uitkijken over de rivier de Neuse. Dit is de perfecte plek om bij te lezen of gewoon een kopje koffie te drinken terwijl u naar de dolfijnen kijkt.
Basiskabel en WIFI komt gratis met het huisje. Linens verstrekt.

You WILL want to live here!!

Seriously, I did not want to leave. This is such a clean comfortable home. Woke up to amazing sunrises. The home is equipped with everything you would need. We did not have children or pets with us but I did notice a gate at the top of the stairs which is very convenient if you did have children or pets. It was too early in the season for the pool to be open but that area looked well maintained and the pool was a good size.

Perfect getaway

We went to visit my son before his deployment and needed a place close to Cherry Point Marine Base.What a huge bonus when we arrived and found we had such beautiful accommodations! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The views of the morning sunrise were spectacular! The property was beautiful and it made our visit so much more enjoyable! Could not have asked for anything more!!! Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!!

Lovely stay

The house and property are beautiful and a quick drive to grab coffee from the Bean and walk around town. Communication was easy and we had gorgeous sunrise views each morning. It was fairly quiet due to being off season, which was perfect for us. We will be back!

Blissfully Restful

What a fantastic place to unwind. Beautiful sunrises every day the clouds participated. Dolphins passed by to wish us a good morning. And the view was, as advertised, splendid. The hosts were also very helpful and responsive. We had an issue with the coffee maker on the first morning but the team was able to have that addressed that afternoon and coffee on the deck every morning after was fabulous. Small towns in the area made for nice day trips as needed to provide some engagement with civilization, but my wife and I wanted a quiet week to just unwind and we both agree that Neuse Village provided exactly what we were looking for.

Summer Get Away

We had a lovely time at Neuse Village #6. We stayed with our family, as it was my son's first time attending Camp Sea Gull, and we wanted to be close by in case of any incidents. The house is spacious, clean, and bright - wonderful nature light and the views are spectacular. As for the location, there is a small sandy beach where children can play, and the Neuse is very calm in the morning, so it is easy to paddle board, kayak or canoe. There are some jellyfish, so if you have very small children, you need to be mindful of that. The swimming pool is a sports pool design, meaning the deepest it gets is in the middle (around 4'6' or so). There is a seating bench on one side which my 2 year could enjoy standing on. Lots of tree frogs on the doors, windows and porches on damp evenings, so be careful where you step. The boys enjoyed visiting with our amphibian friends, and they were fun to watch hunt insects in the evening, very successfully for the most part. We also went to Emerald Isle one day - the public beach was easy to access, and the ferry is free and easy to use. You can get out of your car during the ride. Overall, a quiet, clean, and peaceful retreat. Bring your fishing pole.

Perfect!!

The home was perfect!! Our view was Amazing!! We celebrated Our Anniversary for the week and enjoyed every moment. We ventured out each day on short trips to Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, New Bern and other places and came back to the beautiful view that the Neuse Village #6 provided. The home had everything we needed and was very clean. The Cherry Branch-Minnesott Ferry is very close and made day trips easier.

Perfect getaway before camp

We had the nicest stay before dropping one of our daughters at camp. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed including beautiful views of the Neuse river. My little family loved exploring the area, fishing off the dock, and taking a day trip to Atlantic Beach. We will definitely be back!

Quiet perfection

We couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable, beautiful place to stay. The view is gorgeous, with perfect chairs on the deck to bask in the beauty. The main living room is spacious & airy, the kitchen well equipped, and the bedroom cozy. We’d love to come back.

Everything about our stay was all we could hope for and more. It was quiet and relaxing. There is enough to do if you want to get out for day trips and see the area. Beautiful views of the Neuse River and gorgeous early morning sunrises. Great communication with the host, when needed.

Not enough nice things to say about the host! House was in a great spot. Definitely encourage you not to bring a sportscar to this location. The road/driveway in is rough! House was clean. Some of the furniture was showing signs of use but overall a great place to sit and relax. Would definitely come here again.

We love staying at this adorable waterfront cottage. The location is ideal and absolutely beautiful. The house is clean and comfortable. I would recommend dinner at the Silos in Oriental if you have the chance. We will certainly be back for another stay in the future.

Wonderful property

This property is a gem! The view of the river is absolutely gorgeous, we even saw dolphins close to shore while we enjoyed coffee in the morning. The house is a great layout, bedrooms were nice and roomy downstairs and main living space upstairs was great. We loved it and will definitely stay again if we’re in the area.
