It was a little confusing on which building we were actually renting when we arrived. But Peggy was amazing and so accommodating. She was very responsive and we were sad to go.'

'The cabin is small and lacks privacy but has good lake access. While the cabin has the basics the really important things are not being maintained. We first ran out of propane which runs the hot water heater, stove and grill (and they have two tanks). Then the septic tank was full and we couldn’t use the toilet from about 10 pm until 3pm the next day. 'Stayed here in the winter for our annual ice fishing trip. It is very close to the boat landing for easy access to the lake. Everything is as advertised. It is a great place to stay with tons of fun for everyone!'

'We loved staying here. My family is from the area. My grandma worked at this place in the 1920’s with the Jeffris’ family. Then she worked here in the 60s for another family. I spent summers at the beach so it was such a blessing to be back here. The place was clean and cozy and had everything I needed for cooking many meals.'

Gas Heat and AC Good, Cabin was rustic with that old cabin feel with updated amenities. Could use better craftsmanship. Bad, mattress’s and furniture (couch and chairs) may be as old as the cabin. Very uncomfortable for all. As for the 2 beds, bring foam unless they replace due to this review. Finally, the walk to the lake is a bit deceptive in original ad. There is no view from...

'We enjoyed our stay and loved waking up to the view of the lake and deer eating in the yard. The house was clean and cozy. Chris was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had.'

'Property is very well maintained, and clean. Keep in mind this is a lakeside cabin, not a primary residence so it does not have some of the creature comforts some will want. However, if you are wanting a quite getaway and enjoy lakeside living it is perfect. '

'The inside of the house was well suited for our group of 14 people and our dogs. There were ample towels in both bathrooms as well as in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment! The bed linens were good quality! There is some traffic noise being near a busy road but it’s more quiet towards evening. The yard is large but could use some trimming and cleanup! We really enjoyed and utilized the big outside table and chairs! We had a very memorable weekend!'
