The Young guy at the desk was doing a amazing job, sad no support from management though, took a long time to get checked in due to the multitude of "fires [metaphorical not literal] he was left to put out. Watched manager walk in go to desk and walk out, with 4 customers left on the shoulders of the the front desk attendant. Sad really, breakfast felt like it was a hate meal, 4types of bagels no butter? No cream cheese? Eggs, not side , potatoes, bacon , or sausage , would have at least felt welcoming, i understand major renovations were occurring but it just felt like the stay was not welcomed, i stayed 2 nights , roomservice never came to check had to ask for fresh towels what was on the cart she was pushing? Apparently not towels for sure, this spot needs .....much. affordable, and 2 staff members were friendly thats the good, i tighten screws all over my room, for security and proper functionality, cleaned cob webs off every area above eye level, water ran constantly from toilet and tub...i asked for a bucket to get ice from only place completely other side of property on another floor, and was handed a bag 1 to walk the property length back to my sweet. Like i said young guy from opelousas, and then when checking out of room young hispanic lady for polite everyone else felt bothered by my presence and my interaction was received as an annoyance. IM ASHAMED OF WHAT IS CONSIDERED CUSTOMER SERVICE IN AMERICA TODAY. BUT THE 2 I MENTIONED GIVE A GLIMMER OF HOPE LEFT.
